Paris Hilton was finally recognized for her acting skills. Paris won three Razzie Awards on Saturday. Paris won for:

• Worst Actress – The Hottie and the Nottie
• Worst On-Screen Couple – The Hottie and the Nottie
• Worst Supporting Actress – Repo! The Genetic Opera

Next year we hope Miley Cyrus will do as well as Paris at the Razzies.

Paris Hilton has said this a thousand times already, but she feels the need to keep saying it, because people aren’t getting it. Paris tells People magazine she isn’t dumb, she just used to play a character on TV who was dumb:

"For five seasons I was stuck doing this character," she says. "It was kind of hard always having to play that character when it’s not who I am."

She adds, "I just say jokes but they think I’m serious, which I think is funny, and I think I kind of play up the image sometimes because – whatever – it’s just entertainment."

Rick Salomon is being sued by Gertrude Harutunian, who alleges Salomon hosted a drug-fueled party last July at his home in the Hollywood Hills. Gertrude alleges "cocaine, meth, pot and alcohol which were freely given out …." at the party.

Gertrude alleges the drugs and alcohol caused Buddy Segal, Salomon’s roommate, to pull Harutunian from a bed by her hair, "strike, hit and throw" her while Salomon watched. Gertrude alleges Segal then dragged her across a room to a shower, and threw her inside, as "Salomon watched and conspired with Segal to hurt and injure her."

We’ll see how this plays out in court.

Salomon is the ex husband of Shannen Doherty, and Pamela Anderson, and he made an intimate tape with Paris Hilton.
