Nicole Kidman publicist, Wendy Day, released the following statement:

"Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban confirmed today that they are expecting a baby. The couple are thrilled."

The other day I asked if Nicole was eating for one or two, and now we have the answer. This morning news broke that Nicole dropped out of filming a movie due to concerns over her unborn baby. Maybe the new baby will help her adopted kids like her as much as they like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

The Nicole Kidman pregnancy rumors are kicking into high gear. Now there is news that despite a $15 million pay check, Nicole has dropped out of filming The Reader due to concern the role may harm her unborn baby. A reporter for Daily Telegraph in Sydney, Australia, asked Kidman point-blank whether she was in the family way. Nicole "refused to answer," the paper said. A source said "Of course, everyone knows she’s pregnant and lying about it." Another source said Vanity Fair editor was recently overheard talking about pushing up Nicole’s photo shoot for the magazine’s annual Hollywood issue saying, "It’s because the costumes she’s set to wear won’t fit her much longer."

Kidman needs to take a break, she’s had a rough year at the box office with three movies in a row striking out. Her sci-fi stinker "The Invasion," which cost $80 million, earned a pathetic $15 million in North America; her queasy drama "Margot at the Wedding," tanked with a haul of just over $1.8 million; and her holiday blockbuster hopeful, "The Golden Compass," which cost a whopping $180 million, has earned just $59 million domestically so far.

In a few months we’ll see if Nicole has a baby bump, and a picture that shows it.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban may be denying Nicole is pregnant, but she’s showing. Some reports say she’s only 1 month pregnant. She’d have to be at least 3 months pregnant before she’d have this kind of baby bump. Page Six implies Kidman is really pregnant:

WHICH 40ish actress has finally gotten pregnant for the first time? Her rep is denying it because she’s only a month into it, and has suffered miscarriages in the past. Said our source: "Watch for her to get bangs and start wearing hats to hide her sagging face because you can’t be on Botox when you are pregnant."

The clock is running out. If Nicole isn’t pregnant now, while Keith is still clean and sober, she may never get another chance.

Nicole Kidman did not directly deny being pregnant. Her rep denied the report saying:

"It is incorrect," the spokeswoman tells the paper. "She must have had about 30 babies by now. She’s in Australia making a film," director Baz Luhrman’s epic Australia, co-starring Hugh Jackman, "and her family are in Australia. She’s happily ensconced away somewhere having a few days break. It’s the silly season. As far as we’re concerned, it’s another rumor out of London."

I thought that movie had completed shooting a long time ago, which is why Nicole was able to film The Golden Compass.

An unnamed friend told the Herald Sun it is "conceivable" that the actress is nearly three months pregnant.

"She did have a small baby bump a month ago, so it would be reasonable that she’d now be three months and telling her friends and family."
