Kate Hudson Sings in Nine Musical
Kate Hudson (29) is making a big impression with her singing ability in the musical Nine which opens December 25 in theaters.
Hudson who plays a fashion magazine reporter on assignment in Italy in Nine. Hudson’s mother Goldie Hawn was a go-go dancer on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In. An original song, Cinema Italiano, was added to the film’s lineup just for Hudson.
Rob Marshall, who will direct the adaptation of the Tony-winning Broadway musical, calls Hudson’s skills as a singer and dancer "revelatory."
Also starring in the movie musical are Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, and Stacy Ferguson (aka Fergie).
Nicole Kidman Talks About Kinky Fetishes

Nicole Kidman leads off a GQ interview by saying she burned her journals and diaries she kept about her marriage to Tom Cruise, and added she will take those secrets to her grave. Kidman then talks about things she’s explored since marrying Keith Urban:
"I’ve explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy."
When Kidman says she’s "explored … monogamy," what are we supposed to interpret from that? Is Kidman exploring being faithful to her husband, or is she exploring her husband being faithful to her? The interviewer could have at least pressed Kidman to elaborate more.
You may have noticed the outfit Kidman is wearing on the GQ cover. Kidman testified before the U.S. Congress last month about her concern that Hollywood portrays women as s*x objects, and I mentioned that she is part of the problem. This GQ cover underscores what a hypocrite Kidman is.
Nicole Kidman Goes to Washington

Nicole Kidman became the latest Hollywood hypocrite when she spoke to the United States Congress on Wednesday:
Nicole Kidman spoke to the US Congress yesterday to accuse Hollywood of contributing to violence against women by portraying them as s*x objects.
Kidman was speaking yesterday in her role as a UN ambassador to a House foreign affairs subcommittee that is considering legislation to tackle violence against women overseas.
When asked by Republican representative Dana Rohrabacher whether the film industry “played a bad role” in the way it portrayed women, Kidman replied “Probably”.
With all the movies Kidman has done without clothes on, when she didn’t need to and was financially rich enough to opt out of, Kidman has proven herself to be a hypocrite. This notion that women should always make claims they are a victim, when they are someone who is causing the problem, makes them part of the problem, not the solution, but moreso a hypocrite.
Besides the hypocrisy, what was Kidman doing talking to the United States Congress anyway, she’s not even a U.S. citizen?
