French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife and first lady, Carla Bruni (40), is once again causing a scandal. A picture of Bruni taken in 1993 of her without clothes for a model shoot, is being sold at a Christie’s New York auction. The picture is expected to be sold for around $3,000. An aide for Bruni said:

"Carla is very angry, not to say deeply upset, that a commercial organization has chosen to release this print at such an important time. Her priority is to establish herself on the world stage as a first lady France can be proud of."

Sarkozy and Bruni are expected in the U.K. for an official visit tomorrow. It was a huge mistake for Sarkozy to marry a woman like Bruni after only knowing her for 3 months. Sarkozy’s judgment is at question here.

France’s former first lady, Cécilia Ciganer-Albéniz, plans to wed her boyfriend, Moroccan-born public relations executive Richard Attias, in Manhattan Sunday.

Ciganer-Albeniz, 50, and Attias, 48, left Paris Tuesday to get ready for the nuptials and settle in at Attias’s Greenwich, Conn., home.

Attias is reportedly hosting a Friday night reception, and the couple plan to attend a Saturday performance of the Broadway show Mamma Mia before their wedding the following day.

On Sunday, the couple will wed in a civil ceremony before 148 guests, to be followed by a reception at Rockefeller Center, according to a source.

Among the expected guests are the couple’s children from previous marriages, including Ciganer-Albeniz’s 11-year- old son Louis, from her marriage to French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Both the bride and groom are expected to wear Versace.

Ciganer-Albeniz and Sarkozy divorced on Oct. 18 after 11 years of marriage. The French President wed former model Carla Bruni on Feb. 2.

Nicolas Sarkozy who just married his former supermodel girlfriend Carla Bruni after a three-month romance, just four months after divorcing his ex-wife, isn’t very popular these days.

But, as the International Herald Tribune reports, Sarkozy’s popularity among his people is hitting an all-time low, five weeks after a round of local elections. Instead of going on a honeymoon, Sarkozy will be going to a factory threatened by closure and then head to Romania on an official visit.

The couple were married Saturday, and were spotted near the Chateau of Versailles on Sunday.

"The Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni were married this morning in the presence of their families in the strictest privacy."

Francois Lebel, mayor of Paris’ eighth arrondissement, or neighborhood, told Europe-1 radio:

"The bride wore white; she was ravishing, as usual. The groom wasn’t bad either."

There are many threats which France has faced in the past, one of which has been wars, but now they face an even greater threat, the possible evil intentions of a woman who controls the President of France. You could say that Carla Bruni now has France by the testicles.

Nicolas Sarkozy is playing with fire, and he probably knows it. A little research on Carla Bruni reveals she was the onetime lover of Donald Trump, Mick Jagger, and Eric Clapton. She told Le Figaro Madame magazine last year she’s easily "bored with monogamy … love lasts a long time, but burning desire — two to three weeks." Bruni has certainly proven that in real life. When she lived with French writer Jean-Paul Enthoven in 2001, Bruni launched into an affair with his son, Raphael, 10 years her junior. It broke up Raphael’s marriage to Justine Levy, daughter of philosopher Bernard-Henri Levy. Justine later got revenge in a roman-à-clef novel, "Nothing Serious," about a woman whose husband is stolen by a tigress with "a ’Terminator’ smile." Sarkozy and Bruni are dogged by apparently untrue rumors that she’s pregnant and they’ve secretly married.

Sarkozy is already in trouble because he announed his affair with Bruni publicy, right after he divorced his wife. Bruni is trouble.
