Vanessa Minnillo (28) and Nick Lachey (35) have split. Minnillo’s rep says the former couple:

"… have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another."

It looks like unemployed Minnillo’s plan to marry rich Lachey failed, so she’ll have to find work now.

Nick Lachey will be hosting the Disney’s High School Musical: Summer Session. The show premieres June 20 on ABC. Summer Session will be a talent show.

This will be Lachey’s first major reality gig since MTV’s hit Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are not getting married, even though Fox News reported they were getting married in the Bahamas this weekend. Nick’s rep said, "Not true. Fox made it up."

Earlier this year it was reported that Vanessa threatened to end her relationship with Nick if he didn’t marry her, but he refused. Well, Vanessa is still out of work, and Nick has lots of money from his divorce, so their still together. Isn’t true love beautiful?

Nick Lachey (34) took every legal action he could to keep nude pictures of himself, and his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo (27) from making it into the public eye, and yet they are still on the Internet. Now out of work, and hard-up for cash, Vanessa has caught the eye of Playboy senior executive photographer editor, Patty Beaudet-Frances, who told In Touch Weekly:

“Vanessa is absolutely right for Playboy. She’s very sexy and more sophisticated than a lot of women her age.”

Playboy has a good eye for desperate celebrities that have dropped from the A list to the D list.

Vanessa Minnillo is reportedly upset that Nick Lachey won’t marry her unless she signs a prenuptial agreement. Reports say:

According to a source, “Vanessa has hit Nick with a wedding ultimatum – ‘Marry me by next year without a prenup or I’m gone!’”

Another source added, “Vanessa loves Nick, but she’s prepared to walk if he’s not willing to marry her. And she’s not going to get involved in a prenuptial agreement. She feels marriage is forever, and she doesn’t want to begin a lifelong commitment by signing an agreement that’s just an out for a divorce.”

Nick walked away with a lot of Jessica Simpson’s money, and the reason, no prenuptial agreement. It’s a well known fact that Vanessa is out of work, and a marriage to Nick would be a great career move financially, both during the marriage, and in a divorce. Nick is smarter than most men. Sure Vanessa might be great in bed, but when she says she won’t marry him unless it’s without a prenuptial agreement, he’d be a fool to believe it’s because she loves him. I’ve said it before, Vanessa is trouble. It’s time for Nick to bounce to the next hot number on his list. If he doesn’t there’s sure to be big drama down the road. On second thought, maybe they should stay together.
