Nick Jonas Talks to Congress About Type 1 Diabetes

Nick Jonas gave an amazing statement to the Senate Homeland and Government Affairs Committee. Nick says his song A Little Bit Longer was written about diabetes. Nick also said when he was first diagnosed he had suddenly lost 15 pounds, was thirsty and cranky, and had a blood sugar of 790 when he went to the doctor. We are lucky Nick is still with us, because a blood sugar of 790 could have caused him to lapse into a diabetic coma.

We applaud Nick for always speaking out to help raise money and awareness, so that some day soon a cure can be found for diabetes.

Billy Ray Cryrus was on Larry King Live talking about how much he approves of Miley Cyrus dating Nick Jonas again.

In fact, Billy Ray says he was the one who gave a Jonas Brothers CD to the President of Walt Disney records, and said:

"Man you better take a listen to these Jonas Brothers. Man these guys are great."

Billy Ray is trying to say the Jonas Brothers would not have been discovered by Disney if he hadn’t put in a good word. We wonder if Disney execs remember it the same way.

Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus were caught on video kissing in the video above starting at the 0:59 seconds mark. Nick and Miley were riding a jet ski together at Tybee Island in Georgia on a date when they were caught.

Miley talked about the hookup later on a radio show.

Miley Cyrus did a phone interview on a Tennessee radio show, Woody and Jim on 107.5 The River, this morning.

Miley talked about ~~dating~~ hanging out with Nick Jonas again, riding a jet ski with Nick, and officially confirming she pierced her nose.

When Miley turns 18 years-old we expect her to run to a tattoo parlor to get a tramp stamp, and a finger tattoo that says "Shhh."

We think Nick must really love his brothers to resort to dating Miley again for the publicity. We’ll bet Nick was doing a lot of praying with Miley sitting in the driver’s seat.

Miley Cyrus (16) ended her nine month relationship with Justin Gaston (20) last week as she was leaving Los Angeles to film her new movie The Last Song in Savannah, Georgia.

We knew trouble was brewing back in April when Miley hooked up with former boyfriend Nick Jonas, then told a crowd she didn’t have a boyfriend.

On Saturday Miley Twittered:

"I’m in a dark theater ’writing’ a song with nick j who is rockin a faded eggplant shirt! "

The Jonas Brothers need the extra publicity boost right now, and Miley might be able to help with that. Way to take one for the team Nick.

Joe Jonas Song About Taylor Swift

A song called Paranoid from the Jonas Brothers is said to be about Joe’s ex girlfriend Taylor Swift. Joe Jonas denies the song is about Taylor. Nick Jonas said:

"This is really funny because people think this is about something particular, but the truth to that is it’s one of the only songs of the record that’s not about a direct personal experience."

Kevin Jonas added:

"It’s, like, the most general song."

The lyrics go something like this:

Caught in a nightmare
Can’t wake up
That’s why my ex is still my ex
I never trust a word she says
I’m running all the background checks
And she’s freaking out

That doesn’t sound like Taylor, that sounds more like a song about Nick’s ex Miley Cyrus, except Nick wouldn’t be the one who is paranoid, it would be Miley, she even said she’s possessive like that.

I guess some think the song is about Taylor, because she likes to write songs about ex boyfriends herself. I think it’s all about Miley.
