Nick Hogan Cries to Mommy on the Phone from Jail

Nick Hogan cried to mommy Linda Hogan from jail the other day, and she gave him some suggestions on how to pass the time. He wines like a little baby. Maybe he’ll grow up some now. Maybe he can spend some time imagining the hell his friend John Graziano is going through after suffering severe brain damage that Nick caused.
Nick is just lucky Graziano didn’t die, or his jail sentence would have been a lot longer.

Nick Hogan is not Doing Well in Jail

Nick Hogan, aka Nick Bollea, has been having trouble dealing with the lack of freedom in prison. He must have thought doing time was easy. Delusional thoughts are what led to his problems, so maybe this experience will truly open his eyes, and help him grow up.
The MJ Morning Show posted a transcript of a portion of a conversation Nick had with his mom Linda:
Nick Bollea: "Had I known this, I would have rather gone to trial or I would rather, you know, appeal the case or something. I can’t deal with this for eight months. It’s (Bollea’s cell) like the size of my bathroom."
Linda Bollea: "Oh!"
Nick: "No windows or nothing. Just one little top bed thing."
Linda: "Oh my God!"
Bollea is being kept in a single cell at the Pinellas County Jail, because he is one of only two minors serving time in the adult facility. On the phone, he cries often and is comforted by his mother Linda.
Nick: "All you do is sit there and think, and there’s nothing to think about."
Linda: "We’ll get through it."
Nick: "Yeah."
Linda: "Prove to everyone you’ve learned your lesson and be more careful."
I have to wonder if this is all just an act, because he obviously knows his conversations are not only recorded, but can be disclosed to the public. The more suffering Nick seems to be feeling in jail, the more people will be willing to forgive him when he gets out of jail.
Brooke Hogan Makes Trouble for Brother Nick

Nick Hogan took responsibility for almost killing his friend in a street race, and was sentenced to 8 months in jail. Brooke Hogan isn’t helping him much with a post she wrote today on her MySpace blog:

BS
Current mood: pissed off
Category: LifeI know most of the public thinks my brother is some rich little selfish kid, but NO ONE knows the real story and I’m really pissed that the truth didn’t come out from either side. A LOT of lies were told in that trial. Believe me. And it wasn’t from us. John was NEVER home. He was at our house. ALL THE TIME. that should say enough…. Im not going to be out spoken right now, but If some s*** doesn’t start getting straightened out, A lot of people are going to eat their words for lieing. I know all of the truth and I have back up. I never know how twisted this world could be but I’m starting to figure it out. And I’m gonna have to jump off my high road and tackle some ppl who are taking the low road. I know you guys don’t understand, but you will really really soon. Keep praying. And by the way, before you judge anybody, make sure you really know them. I promise you if you were to meet my brother he would give you the shirt off his back. He’s not "NICK HOGAN." AND hes not the person he plays on tv. People are so gullible now a days…"
Someone must have informed Brooke that she sounds like an idiot. The judge said Nick showed remorse for his crime, but Brooke is making things worse by painting him as an innocent victim. Brooke might have trouble taking responsibility for her actions, but Nick isn’t, and that’s a good thing. It help him from getting a 5 year jail sentence.
Brooke removed the post above, and replaced it with the one below:
"Monday, May 12, 2008
wtvr
I have the truth on my side. And the truth will set everyone straight sooner or later. PEACE
ps: yes I took my last one off cause I know itll go around anyway. Have at it ppl."
The truth is, Nick hurt his friend really bad by doing something illegal, and now he’s paying for his crime. I have a feeling things would not go so well for Brooke with her attitude, if she gets in trouble with the law.
Nick Hogan New Mug Shot

Here is Nick Hogan’s, aka Nick Bollea, mug shot after he was taken into custody today following a judge sentencing him to 8 months in jail. Hopefully he’ll learn his lesson once he’s released. His probation will last 5 years, and he’ll end up in prison stripes again if he acts up. Read more here.
Nick Hogan Sentenced to 8 Months in Jail

Nick Hogan, aka Nick Bollea, threw himself on the mercy of the court yesterday, and today he stood before the judge at a Pinellas County adult courtroom. The judge made the point that Nick is 17 years-old, but he is charged with a felony and is in an adult court. As a juvenile the judge wants to give him the opportunity to rehabilitate himself, but since he is charged with an adult crime, he also sees the need for punishment.
The judge also said that Nick’s actions were willful, and malicious, even though the end result was not intended. He said he took issue with the characterization that John Graziano’s injuries were the result of an accident, especially when Nick has a history of brazenly speeding, and even race car drivers understand that speeding should be done on race track where other people are less likely to be hurt, so the injuries were a result of willful and conscious decisions made by Nick.
The judge said it appears based on the letter Nick wrote, and what his family said, it appears Nick is starting the process of growing up, and is remorseful. The judge said there is a need for some punishment, and rehabilitation.
Nick was sentenced to the maximum of 5 years of probation. Nick has to do at least 500 hours of community service. The judge rejected a buy-out provision, where Nick could buy-out of his community service. Nick cannot do speaking engagements and count those hours as community service, but rather Nick must perform services like John Graziano performed as a Marine to properly honor John. Nick’s driver’s license will be revoked for 3 years. That will hurt him a lot, because he loves to drive fast. That license revocation may not apply to a race track. Nick also can’t drink during his five year probation, and must get an alcohol evaluation. Nick will need attend a DUI school. The restitution cost will be decided in the civil case, and Nick must pay all court costs in the criminal case decided today.
The judge gave Nick credit for accepting responsibility early in the case, and the judge believes Nick is remorseful, which factored heavily in the judge’s willingness to grant nick the sentence handed down today.
However, the judge said Nick must receive some incarceration for him to realize there are consequences for his actions. Nick was sentenced to 8 months in the Pinellas County jail to begin immediately, with time served credit. Nick was facing a maximum 5 year jail sentence.

I agreed with the sentence Nick comes from a good family and will hopefully learn his lesson from this.
