Rumors are circulating again that Naomi Watts is pregnant. Reports say Watts most recently visited Chinese herbalist and fertility expert Lily Liu in Australia, and previously a fertility clinic in Brentwood, California. The last reports I saw about Watts definitely being pregnant were back in December 2005, then January 2005 reports said Watts and Liev Schreiber split. Stoking the rumors was a statement watts made saying she was desperate for children, but was worried it might be too late to conceive: “I wish it could have happened a little bit sooner. I have wanted a family since I was 19.” All rumors though.

Last week Watts attended the Shakespeare in the Park gala in New York City’s Central Park. From the pictures here, does Watts look pregnant to you? She doesn’t look pregnant to me.

Naomi Watts spent the day in LA doing what she does best, smashing balls with a tennis racket. Some of you might like balls flying at your face, especially sweaty balls, but not Naomi. Her foot work looks good. She seems to have a good grip on the shaft. I like that.

Oscar-nominated actress Naomi Watts has been selected as a special United Nations ambassador on HIV/AIDS, according to Reuters.

UNAIDS said that in the role, Watts would “use her talent and profile to raise AIDS awareness and give greater voice to the needs of people living with HIV worldwide.”

The 37-year-old, born in Britain and raised in Australia, recently joined a UNAIDS mission to Zambia where she visited clinics, hospitals, schools and shelters.

Watts said she was “humbled and inspired” by those she met.

“I only hope that, as a UNAIDS Special Representative, I can do my small part to raise AIDS awareness and to encourage greater international support for the vital work being done on the ground,” she said in a statement.
