Naomi Campbell Has a Baby

Naomi Campbell visited a hospital in Nigeria on Sunday where she had a baby in her arms. Naomi took the free press opportunity to make this statement:

“I’m not a bad person. When people say all these negative things about me, I ignore them. Let them be negative - but do that away from me. It hurts but I know there is much more good in the world."

“I’m blessed to be able to do charitable work and good things but no one focuses on that because I don’t throw it in people’s faces. That’s why they focus on the negatives.”

It’s hard to ignore a blackberry being thrown at your head, or an angry Naomi headed in your direction.

Naomi Campbell Banned by Nelson Mandela

Naomi Campbell showed up for Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday party last night in London with her new boyfriend Marcus Elias. Naomi had been scheduled to present acts at a Mandela concert in Hyde Park, but Mandela himself banned her from presenting, even though she can sit in the audience. An insider said:

"Naomi was slated to introduce some of the acts on stage as she has done with 46664 concerts in the past, but she has been informed that this time she can only sit in the grandstand."

"The man himself intervened and she was pulled off the list. He was disappointed with her recent arrest, particularly as she was wearing a 46664 baseball cap at the time."

46664 was Mandela’s prisoner number he was assigned during his 27 year prison sentence. This is good for Naomi. She has called Mandela her "honorary grandfather," and it looks like grandapa is trying to teach her an important life lesson. Bad behavior isn’t rewarded.

Naomi Campbell Lashes Out at British Airways

Naomi Campbell told Sky News on Friday lashed out at British Airways for losing her luggage:

"I was called a racial name on that flight. And that was part of my reaction. Again, nothing to do with the police but yes from British Airways. I was called a golliwog supermodel, I don’t think that’s really fair do you?’ Would you like it if someone turned round and called you a golliwog supermodel? I mean I’m proud to be a black woman, I’m proud to be British, I’m proud of the job that I do but I did not call anyone names of colour, of their race. And, you know, I’ve had to leave all of that out of court and all of that out of statement because at the end of the day the real problem was, I took my upset and my, the end of my wrath came out on the police, which was wrong."

Although Naomi has a right to feel upset over her lost luggage, her crazy behavior can’t be excused or justified. Naomi should sit down with Martha Stewart, and learn a lesson on diplomacy, especially since she is in the position of being a role model by virtue of the fact that she is a celebrity. If you want respect, you have to earn it.

Naomi Campbell Pleads Guilty

Naomi Campbell hanging her head in shame above, and who had previously accused the police and courts of targeting her because she was black, entered a guilty plea in her airline disturbance case. Naomi’s bag had been lost in the newly opened Terminal 5 at Heathrow airport in April when the incident ocurred. The loss of the bag cause Naomi to go completely beserk. The court heard a tape where Naomi said:

"They have lost my f_cking bags, get me another flight, get the press, get me my lawyer. I can’t believe you have lost my f_cking bag. Bring me my f_cking bags now. How dare you tell me what my options are? You are not leaving (she said to the captain) until you find my f_cking bags. You are a racist, you wouldn’t be doing this if I was white. F_ck you, f_ck you, Captain!"

The captain of the airplane, and crew, tried to apologize and calm Naomi for ten minutes before police were finally called.

The chairman of the magistrates’ bench Peter Yiacoumi said to Naomi as he sentenced her today:

"These offences are aggravated because they were committed within a lengthy incident in a confined space on an aircraft."

"Whilst we accept that the loss of your suitcase would have been stressful, your subsequent behaviour cannot be justified."

The magistrate also told Naomi that her behavior aboard the British Airways plane was "reckless."

Naomi pleaded guilty to two counts of using threatening, abusive words or behavior to cabin crew, three counts of assaulting a constable (police), and one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

Naomi was sentenced to 200 hours community service and fined $4,500 on today.

The C.P.S. director Nazir Afzal also said in a statement:

"Ms. Campbell was aggressive, hostile and violent to people who were simply trying to do their jobs. Her behavior fell far short of what is acceptable."

Last year, Campbell was ordered to attend anger management classes and complete five days of community service after she pleaded guilty to assault for throwing a cell phone at her housekeeper.

Naomi needs a different kind of anger management class.

Naomi Campbell is Going Bald

Naomi Campbell (38) was spotted leaving Cipriani restaurant in London the other night (pictured above). It appears Naomi is losing her hair. Not good for a supermodel.

Naomi was dating Brazilian entrepreneur Marcus Elias a few months ago, but People has confirmed she has moved on to a Russian businessman, although his name is still unknown. Instead of jewelry, maybe Naomi’s new boyfriend could buy her some hair plugs.
