Leonardo DiCaprio has a whole bunch of psychological thriller movies, and other incredible movies coming out over the next few years. DiCaprio is one of my favorite actors of all time, and for good reason. Back in 2005 DiCaprio received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the tender age of 30.

Two movies that look intense are Shutter Island above, and Inception below. Paramount is rumored to have pushed back the release date of Shutter Island from October 2, 2009, to sometime in February 2010. I hope the rumor isn’t true, because I really want to see this movie.

Inception’s video trailer just come online, and it is slated to hit theaters July 16, 2010. Inception seems to have a lot of Matrix special effects.

A movie that documents three rock legends getting together, and is called It Might Get Loud, hits theaters on August 27. Here’s the synopsis:

Rarely can a film penetrate the glamorous surface of rock legends. It Might Get Loud tells the personal stories, in their own words, of three generations of electric guitar virtuosos The Edge (U2), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), and Jack White (The White Stripes). It reveals how each developed his unique sound and style of playing favorite instruments, guitars both found and invented. Concentrating on the artists musical rebellion, traveling with him to influential locations, provoking rare discussion as to how and why he writes and plays, this film lets you witness intimate moments and hear new music from each artist. The movie revolves around a day when Jimmy Page, Jack White, and The Edge first met and sat down together to share their stories, teach and play.

Taylor Swift tweeted about the movie writing:

"I need to see this. As soon as possible. I called four other people into the room to watch this trailer with me."

Of the three, for me at least, Jimmy Page is among the greatest of the great.

The first official movie trailer for Avatar, which hits theaters on December 18, has been released. The trailer below isn’t very good quality, but there is a much higher quality French MSN version here.

Although Apple has been hyping the download, and viewing, of the trailer from their site here, and the direct download of the HQ version here, the links are dead right now.

From what I’ve see so far I’m not sure yet how good the story is. Even the 3D special effects are leaving me wondering if they can live up to the master of special effects George Lucas of Star Wars fame.

Avatar is one of those movies that HG will see no matter what just to see if it will change how movies are made as James Cameron says it will.

An unreleased, and unused, video trailer with unseen footage for the Rob Zombie movie Halloween II has been leaked, and it is scary.

Halloween 2 hits theaters on August 28, well ahead of Halloween. This one should be good.
