Mischa Barton was on the set, and casually tried to exit her trailer, when … whoops! Watch that last step.

Mischa Barton arrived, in the picture above, at set of The Beautiful Life in downtown Manhattan.

Ashton Kutcher, who is a producer of The Beautiful Life, picked Barton to star as a model in the show. If the model looks nuts, and unkempt, I’d say she’s perfect for the role.

Throw some curlers in Barton’s hair, put a night gown, slippers, a shower cap, and have her push a shopping cart, and she’ll finally look the way she feels.

Mischa Barton still looks horrible leaving a party last night in New York. This is what crazy, and drugs, can do to a girl. Reminds me a lot of Britney after her drug fueled binges that landed her in the crazy house.

On July 15 Mischa Barton (23) called the cops, and was promptly put on an involuntary psychiatric hold (a 5150) by the LAPD. Barton was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday evening, where she remains. There is a psychiatric evaluation after 72 hours, which Barton must have failed. Barton’s friends said she was suicidal after a doing cocaine for days. Sounds just like Britney Spears. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

In the picture above it’s clear Mischa has some serious health issues developing. She tried to explain the bloated face by saying she had her wisdom teeth removed, and the swelling had not gone down yet. Friends said:

"Mischa is so unhealthy and out of control."

"She’ll down anything wine, beer, vodka, whatever she can get her hands on! Most nights she’s getting smashed until 2 or 3 a.m. It’s sad.”

"She’s partying nonstop, and it’s ruining every aspect of her life. Her health, relationships and career are all going to hell. She’s a train wreck, and everyone sees it."

The CW is now planning to add a new character named Jane to replace Barton’s character Sonja Stone on Beautiful Life, which is scheduled to start on July 22, after being pushed back a week.

We hope Barton gets the help she needs. Steve-O is doing a lot better, and Britney could be free from her conservatorship in November. We hope Barton has the same success in her effort to recover from her drug addiction.
