Inglorious Basterds Movie Trailer
The Inglorious Basterds trailer has finally hit the Internet. The movie stars Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, BJ Novak, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender. The movie will hit theaters August 21, 2009. Here’s the synopsis of the movie:
In German-occupied France, Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa. Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema. Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine’s squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own.
This movie sounds exactly like the Daniel Craig movie Defiance below, which was released on January 16, and stirred up all sorts of controversy. We’ll see if Inglorious Basterds stirs up the same controversy.
Austin Powers 4 is Coming Soon
Mike Meyers is writing Austin Powers 4. The new movie will give Dr. Evil’s son Scott Evil, played by Seth Green, a bigger role to play. AP4 will put more focus on Dr. Evil rather than Austin Powers. A source said:
"It’s very personal with a father and son theme loosely based on his own life."
Is Meyers saying his father was an evil villain?
Mike Myers on Ellen
Mike Myers is so talented, but he’s more serious in this interview. He’s probably burnt out on promoting his new movie The Love Guru.
Lindsay Lohan to Present at MTV Movie Awards

Despite showing up 2.5 hours late to perform her co-hosting duties at Wango Tango last weekend, Lindsay Lohan still found more work, sort of.
Lohan, who has only ever won Razzies for her horrible acting, will present MTV Movie Awards along with Steve Carell, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Mark Wahlberg, and many more. It seems odd that Lindsay would even be invited to be in the company of real talent, but every show it seems must have a train-wreck to keep viewers interested, and entertained.
Mike Myers will be the host. His promotional video is below, in which Lohan makes a cameo appearance. Myers appears in the video as a guardian angel in a Speedo.
It’ll be a surprise if Lohan even shows up.
Love Guru Ban in India

The Love Guru has stirred complaints by Hindu groups in India. Rajan Zed, who is president of the Universal Society of Hinduism, said the movie "appears to be lampooning Hinduism." Duh, that’s what comedies do.
Mumbai-based Paramount Films of India is considering making some changes to the film before submitting it for censor clearance.
It’s a shame when people take themselves so seriously, they can’t allow anyone to make a joke at their expense. If everyone was that way, there would be very little comedy.
