Mickey Rourke is in France promoting The Wrestler. When he exited his hotel he was greeted by a very friendly female fan who flashed Rourke. He probably had security get her number.

A paparazzo asked Mickey Rourke on Thursday if he was dating Courtney Love, and he said:

"I’d rather be on a deserted island with a gorilla."

If I were ever drunk enough to consider doing Courtney Love, I hope I would have the good fortune to pass out first.

Mickey Rourke went on Larry King Live last night to promote his movie The Wrestler. Earlier Rourke had said he would wrestle Chris Jericho in Arpil. Rourke’s actual words were:

"You [Chris Jericho] better get in shape because I’m coming after your a$$."

After Rourke faced a pissed off Jericho on Larry King Live, Rourke’s rep issued the following statement:

"Mickey was very honored to be asked, as he has the greatest respect for WWE. However, he will not be participating in WrestleMania. He is focusing entirely on his acting career."

Exactly as Jericho said. Rourke is an actor who played a wrestler. Let’s keep it that way, before someone gets hurt.

About the same time the news came out that Rourke had backed out of the wrestling match Evan Rachel Wood, who was seen making out with Rourke at a Screen Actors Guild Awards show after-party last weekend, issued this statement via Rolling Stone:

"I’m upset because I feel disrespected by the press and by Mr. Rourke. Just because I’m single doesn’t mean that you can take advantage of me. It’s unfair that the performances might suffer because of all of these distractions. I’m not attracted to him, he’s too old for me. Nothing ever happened and nothing ever will."

OUCH! We don’t believe her, but okay, whatever. Rourke is still more of a man than Marilyn Manson.

Mickey Rourke was asked if he was dating Evan Rachel Wood, former Marilyn Manson girlfriend, and Mickey said:

"Does I look dating Evan Rachel Wood this evening guys? C’mon get a grip. She’s a good friend, that’s it. And tell that faggott who wrote all that sh!t in the paper I’d like to break his f**king legs."

Evan Rachel Wood told PEOPLE at Sunday’s Hollywood Life 3rd annual Behind the Camera Awards in Hollywood:

"Spread the word – I’m not dating Mickey Rourke. Everybody thinks we’re dating and we’re not."

Spreading lies and false rumors can really piss some people off. No wonder some gossip bloggers are so hated. How I would love to see a certain gossip blogger meet one of his falsely accused gossip victims face-to-face in a boxing ring.

Mickey Rourke spent Father’s Day at a gay bar in Miami called Rokbar. It’s the only place someone who looks like Thing from Fantastic Four can get laid.
