Heath Ledger was photographed in London on Saturday on the set of his latest movie, "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus." The movie, directed by Terry Gilliam, was due to be released next year. It’s likely the movie was not finished.

Michelle Williams says she is "devastated" by the death Heath Ledger. She says "words cannot describe" the pain she is in over the news about the father of her child, Matilda Rose. Michelle is on a plane heading to NY right now.

A rumor is circulating that Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams are dating. The two were spotted in the West Village in New York City, and a witness said Ryan was "smiling and gazing at her." Maybe he was paying attention to what she was saying, as in listening. His rep says "they are working together." I hope so. I know I wouldn’t want Heath Ledger’s left overs. Besides, Ryan is hot for Hayden Panettiere.

Heath Ledger is back in town and making time with model Helena Christensen. We’re not terribly fond of Mr. Ledger’s mug, so behold the lovely supermodel herself.

The New York Post is reporting:

Just a week after announcing his split from Michelle Williams, Ledger has been squiring Danish pastry Helena Christensen all over town. Tuesday night, the two were at Wakiya "making out throughout the dinner," our spy said. Acting like a good boyfriend, Ledger even "held her bag for her as she did interviews."

What a gentleman. Isn’t that what you’re thinking?

No? Maybe you’re thinking "Gee, Heath, have some class. Is the PDA really necessary so soon?"

Yes. That’s the story. Michelle Williams has put on a brave face and some f-me pumps.

The stunning mother of 23-month- old daughter Matilda sported super high heels for a night out with the girls Sunday. "She looked gorgeous with her sleek bob and seemed happy," said one onlooker. "She was definitely showing it off."

We all wish her well, don’t we? Especially considering she has Heath Ledger’s spit-and-image mini-me to care for day in and day out.

And while we don’t doubt she’s making the rounds with a supportive group of friends, it’s hard to believe that she "seemed happy." Who was that mysterious onlooker? Michelle’s publicist? Her mother?

Because, really folks, when was the last time you saw a picture of Michelle looking anything other than bored, boring, miserable? Smiling? Rarely.

Though, maybe her misery was Heath-related all along.

Now, in addition to hitting Brooklyn bars, she’s probably celebrating with a fun new life filled with ice cream for breakfast, skydiving, laughter, carnies, and 6-inch-high red-soled Christian Louboutins.

Over the weekend Heath Ledger (the new joker in Batman) and Michelle Williams (long forgotten Dawson Creek star) ended their three-year relationship. The couple have a daughter, Mathilda. A source close to the couple says:

“It was rocky for awhile. They did what they could to make it work.”

Michelle did everything she could, she dyed her hair brown, cut it short, and dressed like a boy, but her gay cowboy still wasn’t satisfied.
