Heath Ledger Leaves Nothing to Michelle Williams

Back in 2003, Heath Ledger made out a will before he met Michelle Williams. The will leaves all of Heath’s estate to his parents and his three sisters. Most of the details of the will have been sealed by the court at the request of Heath’s attorney.

Although it seems unfair for Michelle Williams and Matilda, Heath’s family will no doubt setup a trust fund, or provide some means of support for Matilda throughout her life. Michelle herself, who is already wealthy, will have no problem providing for Matilda even without Heath’s money, so no worries.

I miss Heath’s talent. I still don’t want to believe he’s gone.

Michelle Williams’ father Larry Williams has hired Wesley Snipes’ team of tax lawyers to help him with his own troubles with Uncle Sam. Stock market whiz Larry Williams tapped Robert Bernhoft and Robert Barnes to defend him on three counts of attempted tax evasion. Williams is currently living in Australia as he awaits a court ruling on extradition. "He’s eager to restore his good name and reputation," said Bernhoft, who earlier this month helped Snipes beat felony charges of conspiracy to defraud the IRS.

In the picture above: American stock market expert, Larry Williams, walks out of Downing Center Local Court in Sydney, Australia, on Monday, March 26, 2007. Williams, father of Oscar-nominated Hollywood actress Michelle Williams, who won a court bid on March 22 to prevent being extraditing to the U.S. on tax evasion charges, succeeded today in having his bail conditions relaxed giving him greater freedom of movement around Sydney while he waits to learn whether the government will start fresh extradition proceedings.

Michelle Williams and her 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, arrived in Heath Ledger’s hometown of Perth, Australia, today for his funeral.

Michelle, who was dressed in a black dress, carried Heath’s daughter Matilda on her left hip as she was escorted amid tight security through the Aussie airport, according to the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

Matilda, dressed in stripes, clutched a white stuffed rabbit and was shielded from cameras with a blanket as she exited the airport. They drove directly to Heath’s mom’s house in Applecross and shortly thereafter began receiving guests, reports People. One guest brought a bouquet of flowers and Heath’s step mom came by to drop off a casserole.

Heath Ledger Refused Rehab

heath us cover Heath Ledger Refused Rehab

With the Heath Ledger drug video about to be broadcast, news of his past drug problems, and refusal to go to rehab are now becoming news. Heath had cleaned up, or at least that can really be said for sure after the toxicology report comes back. For now though, maybe someone will hear more about Heath’s struggles, and decide to get clean and off drugs or alcohol themselves. Us reports:

Heath Ledger’s battle with alcohol and drugs was so harmful to his relationship with Michelle Williams that she tried to get him to enter rehab, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue, on newsstands now.

For three years, Williams was a firsthand witness to the gifted actor’s use of alcohol and drugs, including cocaine, heroin and "a variety of pills," says a Ledger confidant.

In March 2006 – just weeks after the couple walked the Oscars red carpet and when daughter Matilda was only five months old – Williams drove Ledger to Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, California, the confidant tells Us Weekly.

Ledger refused to check in, instead swaying her with a pledge to clean up.

Even after the couple realized "they were in way over their heads," according to a source, and split in September 2007, two sources tell Us that Williams demanded Ledger be drug-tested before his visitations with Matilda.

When news of Ledger’s death broke last Tuesday, Williams was inconsolable. "She cried and screamed as soon as she heard," a source on the Swedish set of her latest film, Mammoth, tells Us.

Heath didn’t try to kick drugs just for himself, he did it for Matilda.

Michelle Williams rep., Mara Buxbaum, released this statement regard the Us magazine story:

"This fabricated story of Michelle Williams attempting to bring Heath Ledger to rehab is just one lie among many. The speculation is heinous. Let this family grieve privately."

I wonder what Michelle’s rep will say after everyone sees Heath’s drug video.
