Michelle Rodriguez and her Father's Liver

Former Lost star Michelle Rodriguez is adamantly refusing to curb her hard-partying ways, insisting she doesn’t have a drinking problem.

The actress recently served two different jail sentences for violating her probation and also for a drink driving arrest.

But when asked if she planned to calm down, she said: “That’s bulls**t!”

Michelle insists that she doesn’t have a problem with alcohol stating: “My father threw up his liver. If I were going to be an alcoholic, I’d know it by now.”

Rodriquez was pulled over Dec. 2 and recorded a blood alcohol level of 0.17, more than twice the legal limit. Only an alcoholic could reach a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit and still be able to walk let alone drive. Two words, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

This girl is in denial, but repeated jail time will wake her up. On her recent 60 day jail sentence for drinking and driving (DUI), Rodriquez only spent 4 hours in jail due to an over-crowding issue, but she’ll have another chance rest assured. Let’s hope she doesn’t hurt someone before she finally gets help.

Michelle Rodriguez in trouble Again?

Michelle Rodriguez

Michelle Rodriguez just can’t get any love these days. Recently she lost her acting job then came out and said she would come out with her own line of clothes to make money, and said she wouldn’t accept any acting jobs unless it was to play a strong and independent woman (in Rodriquez lingo that means Lesbian which she plays in real-life).

Perhaps she can’t find work because of her bad attitude, and troubles with conforming to the law. Hollywood appears to be distancing itself from her, and not her from Hollywood as she wants everyone to believe.

Did Real Life Intrude on Lost?

Cynthia Watros

Did ‘Lost’ kill off its two stars with off-screen legal troubles?

In Wednesday night’s episode of the ABC drama, the two characters played by
Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were gunned down.

In December, Rodriguez and Watros both were arrested for driving under the
influence in Hawaii. Both pleaded guilty to the charges and were fined.
Additionally, Rodriguez served 65 hours in an Oahu correctional facility,
and Watros had her license suspended for 90 days.

Although their television fates are up to the show’s writers — it was left
hanging on Wednesday whether the characters lived or died — the plot twists
immediately raised questions about whether their real-life antics influenced
their characters’ futures.

According to the show’s producers, the answer is no. They say the storyline
had been planned since last season, well before the DUIs surfaced.

After the actresses had their run-in with the law, producers considered
altering the script, knowing that fans would wonder whether the events were
related. In the end, they decided to stick to the original plan.

How convenient.

Inside Michelle Rodriguez”s Jailhouse Digs

"Lost" jailbird Michelle Rodriguez is living in a military style dorm with 60
other women accused of all kinds of crimes.

And Oahu Community Correctional Center warden Nolan Espinda said that the
27-year-old actress would get "no special treatment" during her five day stay at
his facility.

"We will treat her like anybody else," he revealed. "Miss Rodriguez will sleep
in a bunk bed, wear the brown two-piece correctional uniform and will get out of
bed at 6.30AM with lights-out at 9.30PM.

"There are four guards watching over the women inside the dorm but they are not
armed. Our inmates have been charged with a variety of crimes and there is a
special holding area for anyone who behaves violently but, so far, there have
been no such incidents involving Miss Rodriguez."

Rodriguez"s day begins at 6.30AM with an early morning call from the guards. A
simple breakfast of eggs, cereal, meat, tea and coffee is then served to the
prisoners in a communal dining area. After breakfast the women are allowed to
share a communal shower to get washed.

They are allowed access to a communal recreational area where they can read,
play board games (like chess or dominoes) and interact with one another. A
television set is also provided, allowing Rodriguez to catch-up on the events in
the outside world or perhaps happenings on the latest episode of "Lost."

Lunch is served at 12.30PM and consists of a variety of vegetables, fish, meat
or chicken with fruit juices, milk or coffee.

After lunch, the inmates are allowed out for one hour of exercise in a large
outdoor area where they can play games or mingle with one another before going
back inside the correctional center, which was built in 1913.

Around 1,000 men are housed in adjacent buildings but at no time are they
allowed to interact with the women. A simple dinner is served at 4:00PM
consisting of dishes like meatloaf, chicken or pasta with potatoes and
vegetables.

The inmates are then allowed back into the communal area where they can watch
television or play board games before being led back to their dorm for
lights-out at 9.30PM. Visits are restricted to Saturdays and Sundays at the
facility. Rodriguez is expected to be released this weekend.

The actress chose to do five days jail-time instead of community service after
she pled guilty to driving under the influence on Tuesday. She faces a second
probation hearing on a separate DUI offense in Los Angeles on May 5 which could
result in a 16-month sentence behind bars.

michelle rodriguez Losts Michelle Rodriguez Goes to Jail

Lost actress Michelle Rodriguez pleaded guilty to DUI charges in Hawaii
Tuesday.

The judge at Kaneohe District Court in Oahu offered Rodriguez, 27, a choice
between 240 hours of community service or five days in jail. Rodriguez chose the
jail time. She will also pay a $500 fine.

Her sentence – minus one day for the night she spent in jail following her Dec.
1 arrest – began Tuesday, although Rodriguez was first allowed to go home to
gather some necessities.

After her sentencing, Rodriguez, dressed in a brown leather jacket and
ankle-length white ruffled skirt, apologized for her attitude toward police
officers the night of her arrest (she allegedly told an officer: "I don’t
(expletive) belong here! Why don’t you just put a gun to my head and shoot
me!").
