Detox, Not Rehab, for Richie Sambora

The once super-hot Richie Sambora checked in for detox, not rehab, which explains the very short stint at UCLA.
On Today this morning, Sambora told Matt Lauer that he checked himself in because he was drinking too much and that he’s still in therapy. Sambora said he’s doing well and getting "life back together."
Guess that’s how grown-ups handle the "partying too much" thang. Are you paying attention Britney and Lindsay?

Matt Lauer Welcomes Third Child

The Today show’s Matt Lauer and his wife, Annette, welcomed a baby boy Tuesday, the Associated Press reports.
The child was given the Dutch name of This (pronounced "tice"), in honor of Lauer’s wife, who is Dutch. Born in a New York City hospital at 9:37 a.m., This weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces. This is the couple’s third child. They have a son, Jack, 5, and 3-year-old daughter, Romy.
Lauer, 48, worked his regular shift on Monday, but Weekend Today’s Lester Holt filled in for him on the NBC morning show Tuesday.
"I was on the show for five years before I had children," Lauer, 48, told The New York Times magazine in August. "And back then the job took up a larger slice of the pie graph of my life than was healthy. When I had kids, that immediately changed. It flipped. I realized that the job didn’t have to consume your whole life."
Lauer met his wife in 1997 when she was a working model known professionally as Jade. They married a year later. The couple separated for several months in 2005, and on September 13, Annette filed a petition in Manhattan Supreme Court seeking a split from her husband. She later withdrew the petition and Lauer abandoned his $15,000-a-month Trump Tower bachelor pad and returned to the family’s home on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
On April 11, 2006, Lauer signed a contract with NBC that will provide him with an annual salary of $13 million until 2011.
Matt Lauer and Wife Splitting or Not?

As they await their third child together, Matt Lauer and his wife Annette are trying to keep their marriage from dissolving completely.
On Sept. 13, Annette Roque filed a petition in Manhattan Supreme Court seeking a split from her husband, but, according to Rush & Molloy, the former model is withdrawing the petition, and a rep for the couple says today that they’re "not getting divorced." Last spring, the Lauers separated, then reconciled. It is unclear when the Lauers will welcome their impending arrival.
