Min Hyorin and Shinbi Woori want to become the Korean equivalent of Hollywood’s Olsen twins. Even though these two girls are not biologically related, many believe they are actually twins. At the Mnet KM Music Festival event, comedian Shin Dong Yup could not hide his surprise when he saw these two together.

Min Hyorin and Woori will travel to 10 different cities in 7 different countries to film a show titled Korean Olsen Twins, which features fashions and trends of each city. Korean Olsen Twins will air on Mnet January 2008.

Will Mary-Kate Olsen, who is in the hospital with a kidney infection, and Ashely Olsen, sue Hyorin and Woori for trademark infringement? Maybe, and maybe not.

Mary-Kate Olsen was rushed to the emergency room in New York on Monday for an acute kidney infection, which presents itself as sudden sharp flank pain, and may be accompanied by a fever. An infection in the kidney is very serious. The bacteria involved can make their way into the blood causing a life threatening condition called Urosepsis. Reports say Mary-Kate has been admitted to the hospital. If that’s the case she probably has a fever, and doctors will want to draw blood cultures to make sure the bacteria is not in her blood. If everything goes well she’ll be discharged in a day or two.

Lindsay Lohan said she was admitted to the hospital back in 2005 for a swollen liver, and kidney infection. As it turned out, Lindsay’s admission was related to drugs, most notably cocaine. Lindsay only recently was discharged from a Utah rehab center to help her kick her drug and alcohol addictions.

Back in 2004 Mary-Kate went to rehab in Utah for six weeks saying it was to treat an eating disorder. Reports at the time rumored the admission was related to a drug problem, most notably cocaine.

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly entered the Cirque Lodge drug and alcohol rehab center in Sundance, Utah. According to sources inside the facility, Lindsay arrived over the weekend to start an "intense rehabilitation program that is expected to last a minimum of 30 days." The Insider reports:

The Lodge was named by Town & Country magazine to be one of the country’s top rehabs. For a price tag of $30,000 and up, the rehab offers privacy — with rooms for 16 residents at a time. Rooms boast spectacular views, Jacuzzi tubs and private fireplaces, and stars such as Mary-Kate Olsen and David Hasselhoff have reportedly sought treatment there.

Rehab has a bad reputation for being difficult. This one sounds like a vacation destination, "Rooms boast spectacular views, Jacuzzi tubs and private fireplaces…" Lindsay could get the same treatment by checking into a hotel near the rehab center, and just have counselers visit her every day. It should be obvious that Lindsay isn’t serious about quitting drugs and alcohol. When I hear she’s entered a rehab facility that forces you to wear black and white striped pajamas, uses guard dogs to eat you if you try to escape, is surrounded by a 15 foot fence topped with razor wire, and a moat that has aligators, only then will I be convinced that Lohan is serious about getting clean and sober.

The New York Daily News reports that the girls had extra security measures in place at their birthday bash.

The Olsen twins demanded that guests check cell phones and BlackBerrys at the door at their 21st-birthday party Friday, lest any illicit pictures get out and ruin their six-figure asking price for photos.

As if these two aren’t already making millions for their likenesses and the endless array of Olsen Twin products.

Now their own friends can’t memorialize that time they held back the hair of both twins as their celebratory woo-woo shots came back up?

This is a slippery slope. What’s in store for Mary-Kate and Ashley’s future partying pals?

Confidentiality agreements? Blindfolds? Memory-loss drugs?
