According to The Chicago-Sun Times, staffers for Sarah Palin would like to arrange for Sarah to play Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live in a Weekend Update sketch, and they would also like Sarah to do a parody of Tina Fey’s AMEX commercials with Martin Scorsese. If Sarah does it, the sketches would appear in the October 18 episode.

Lindsay Lohan may have lost her job on the new Charlie Manson movie, because other notable actors didn’t want to work with her, but she still found work in a comedy, not because she’s funny, but because she’s a joke. Rick Schwartz, who produced the last three Martin Scorsese movies, has decided to commit career suicide and cast Lindsay in his movie Labor Pains. The movie is a comedy about a girl who pretends to be pregnant so she won’t get fired. The girl then tries to keep the pregnancy hope going for nine months because everyone is treating her better.

Lying to get attention is a Lohan tradition. Maybe Lindsay really is perfect for this role.
