The Governor of Alaska, and Vice Presidential running mate, Sarah Palin, is confirmed to appear on Saturday Night Live, alongside Tina Fey, on October 18.

Also appearing on SNL on October 18 will be Mark Wahlberg, who was so upset at seeing Andy Samberg spoof him in a skit called Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals, that Mark promised to punch Andy in his "big nose" when he sees him in New York.

Mark Wahlberg appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last evening to promote his movie Max Payne. The subject came up of a skit Andy Samberg did called Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals on Saturday Night Live. Well, Mark isn’t too happy. In fact, Mark says he wants to make a special nose to SNL to punch Andy in his "BIG nose." Mark isn’t kidding. Andy might want to start wearing one of those catcher’s masks.

Does Mark really have to take himself so seriously?

Andy Samberg did a skit on Saturday Night Live called Mark Wahlberg talks to animals, and um, Mark didn’t like it. Mark said:

Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn’t like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that’s for sure. And "Saturday Night Live" hasn’t been funny for a long time. They’ve asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don’t even know who’s on the show now.

Seems like someone doesn’t like it when people poke fun at him. It’s good if you can laugh at yourself once in a while. It’s shows you’re not a total a$$, but if you can’t then well …

Mark is one of my favorite actors, but a little more humility might be nice.

Last week, Ryan Gosling walked away from a starring role in Peter Jackson’s next movie, "The Lovely Bones". He was quickly replaced by Mark Wahlberg, and "creative differences" was cited as the only reason for the change. Us magazine says:

A source tells Us Gosling “was fired" because "he just gained too much weight!" A second insider says, "He ate grilled cheese every day." But pigging out wasnt his only sin. Adds the source: "He drove the hair and wardrobe crew crazy." The loss would seem particularly bitter for Gosling, who told reporters last month that The Lovely Bones "is a totally unique story." A DreamWorks rep tells Us, "We have huge respect for Ryan’s work. It was truly a case of creative differences, plain and simple."

IMDB describes the movie as such: "A young girl who was brutally raped and murdered, watches the effects of her death on her family from Heaven, as her parents drift apart, her father becomes obsessed with vengeance and her sister grows into the woman she would never be." Ryan was supposed to be the father. Apparently Ryan’s interpretation was that the father eats himself to death with a vengeance, which isn’t what the director had in mind.

Actor-singer Mark Wahlberg (34) and his longtime girlfriend, Rhea Durham (27), have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, Durham’s publicist said Tuesday.

Durham, a model, gave birth in a Los Angeles hospital March 22, Durham’s manager Liz Dagostino said. “Rhea’s very happy,” said Dagostino, who did not provide further details. Wahlberg and Durham also have a two-year-old daughter.

Mark has it all, a girlfriend that is a model, is a truly beautiful younger woman, he now has 2 (no doubt also beautiful) children, a great career, and he’s not married.

Wahlberg confessed he wanted to name his new son Michael. “My dad called me Mike since I was a kid,” said the ‘Four Brothers’ star. “So in honor of my dad, I think we’re going to name him Michael.

Mark lives a truly wonderful life, or at least I’d like to think so.
