Karina Smirnoff Asked About Mario Lopez Cheating

Karina Smirnoff got emotional only days after she and Mario Lopez broke-up, when Chelsea Lately asked Karina about rumors that Mario was cheating on her with Hooters girl Meagan Cooper (pictured below).

Meagan told E! that Mario was cheating on Karina with her for about a year before the couple officially broke-up.

Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff Split

Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff have been denying reports for months that they broke up. On Wednesday Karina confirmed the split with on the red carpet at the Bravo A List Awards, she said:

"I just wouldn’t be a great girlfriend right now, Mario’s a great guy."

Mario recently said that he wasn’t going to have a free day until September, with a commitment to perform on Broadway in A Chorus Line, as well as promoting a fitness book and gearing up for the second season of America’s Next Dance Crew. He must have wanted to end the relationship, otherwise he would have brought Karina with him.

While Mario dances the nights away, Karina is now rumored to be dating Michael Yo from E!. The new couple were dancing, and acting very affectionate, at Beso in Hollywood recently.

Karina Smirnoff Exposes Herself at the Beach

Karina Smirnoff and Mario Lopez were having some fun in the Ocean while in Miami Beach, when Lopez tried to flip Smirnoff, and her top came off. There wasn’t much to see.

Karina Smirnoff Denies Split with Mario Lopez

We reported earlier today that Karina Smirnoff and Mario Lopez had split. Karina has now denied the split:

“We’re going on strong. As much as I love and appreciate the attention, this isn’t true. For the record, I am not moving out. Everything is great.”

A source earlier today had said that Karina moved out of Mario’s home, but the pair had not ever acknowledge they were having an intimate relationship, until today. In light of the rumor the pair had split, Karina has now confirmed they are a couple, and are in fact living together in Mario’s Los Angeles home.

Karina was also spotted recently dancing with Michael Yo at Beso. Karina took the opportunity to clarify her relationship with Yo:

“Michael and I have known each for a long time, and there’s nothing romantic whatsoever. He’s a great guy and I really respect him, but we’re just friends.”

She’s keeping her eye on the prize … Mario. Why hasn’t Mario said anything? Is he keeping his options open?
