Mariah Carey will appear on Oprah today to talk about her secret marriage to Nick Cannon. I want to hear what Mariah says when Oprah asks about the recycled engagement ring. Mariah told People:

"We really do feel we are soul mates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me."

Nick told People:

"She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside."

For Mariah, the wedding was all about her, and for Nick the wedding was all about Mariah. Diva.

Mariah Carey Got a Prenup

Fox News is reporting that Mariah Carey actually did get a prenuptial agreement before marrying Nick Cannon. Whew! A mutual pal said:

"Anyone who thinks we didn’t have a prenup is smoking something!"

I certainly hope it’s true that Mariah got a prenup. She’s too smart to be a fool for love.

Mariah and hubby Nick might be apart for the first time on May 15 due to a scheduling conflict. Mariah is set to perform in Dubai, and Nick is scheduled to DJ in NYC for Operation Smile. The honeymoon is over, time to go back to work.

Mariah Carey made the Bye Bye music video with Nick Cannon, after which he became her husband. The two fell in love in this video, after playing they were falling in love. The power of suggestion. Nick also told Mariah she was skinny, and after a few months of dieting and exercise, she has this new banging body for Vibe magazine, and her honeymoon.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Got a Marriage License

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon made it legal when they got marriage license on the Caribbean island of Eleuthera. The marriage license is legal anywhere in the world.

Mariah cancelled her appearance on The View for this coming Monday, and even though she gave no explanation, she is obviously on her honeymoon.

Mariah Carey Did Not Get a Pre-Nup

Mariah Carey was married secretly to Nick Cannon, but some are now worried because she didn’t have Cannon sign a pre-nup. The New York Post reports:

Carey married little-screen actor Nick Cannon at the home Carey just bought in Eleuthera, the Bahamas, a source close to the singer said.

"They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks," the friend said. "And she’s always had a crush on him."

"There was no pre-nup - there wasn’t time," said another worried source.

E! News got confirmation from a Cannon family member that in fact the couple did get legally married, and the whole thing wasn’t just some publicity stunt:

Family member Linda Cannon has confirmed to E! News that the couple are, in fact, married.

"Yes, we know," she says. "He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him."

Linda Cannon wouldn’t confirm an earlier report that had the impromptu nuptials taking place yesterday at Carey’s new home in the Bahamas, only that Nick and his platinum-selling girlfriend have made it official.

"I’m not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him."

This sure took a lot of negative attention away from Miley Cyrus.
