Mariah Carey, and her new husband Nick Cannon, made a public appearance last night in New York City at Time Magazine’s Most Influential People party. Mariah performed, and then the couple had dinner at the Waverly Inn.

How long are these two going to last? I lost interest in this couple the minute I heard they got married. Now I keep forgetting Nick is her husband and not Mariah’s personal asssistant.

Only a diva with a giant ego like Mariah Carey would wear a skin tight wedding dress. Looks like that intense dieting and working out paid off though. I’m surprised the butt didn’t rip out of her dress when Nick Cannon picked up his new bride. He must have been hitting the gym to make it look so easy. Don’t eat the wedding cake Mimi.

Oprah even got the scoop before the marriage that Mariah had already got a tattoo on her back that says "Mrs Cannon." WOW! Mariah wouldn’t mark up that perfect body for just anybody. She’s in LOVE!

Mariah Carey Talks Marriage

Mariah Carey will appear on Oprah today to talk about her secret marriage to Nick Cannon. I want to hear what Mariah says when Oprah asks about the recycled engagement ring. Mariah told People:

"We really do feel we are soul mates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me."

Nick told People:

"She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside."

For Mariah, the wedding was all about her, and for Nick the wedding was all about Mariah. Diva.

Mariah Carey Got a Prenup

Fox News is reporting that Mariah Carey actually did get a prenuptial agreement before marrying Nick Cannon. Whew! A mutual pal said:

"Anyone who thinks we didn’t have a prenup is smoking something!"

I certainly hope it’s true that Mariah got a prenup. She’s too smart to be a fool for love.

Mariah and hubby Nick might be apart for the first time on May 15 due to a scheduling conflict. Mariah is set to perform in Dubai, and Nick is scheduled to DJ in NYC for Operation Smile. The honeymoon is over, time to go back to work.
