Owen Wilson Addicted to Cocaine and Heroin

US Magazine claims Owen Wilson was addicted to both heroin and cocaine, and he went to church 3 days before he attempted suicide. Here’s more:

Wilson visited a St. Monica church in his neighborhood on August 23, out of either devotion or desperation. Three days later, actor Luke Wilson, 35, found his brother in his Santa Monica, California, home with his left wrist slashed, having ingested a quantity of pills.

While the news stunned Owen’s fans, members of his and Hudson’s inner circles were reportedly all too aware of his private struggles with depression and addiction to cocaine and heroin.

According to sources close to the actor, his downward spiral only worsened after his June split from Hudson, 28.
"We always thought he was just too fun-loving, but now it’s obvious he was just dealing with way too much to handle," says a family friend.

I still think Owen went over the edge because of the breakup with Kate Hudson. She probably didn’t mind the drugs, but a church boy was just too much for her to handle what with her Pagan beliefs and all. Page Six agrees with US that Owen was addicted to cocaine and heroin. Here’s more:

Wilson’s drug use was so frequent, it was even the cause of his Memorial Day breakup with Kate Hudson. And his friends are placing the blame squarely on Wilson’s newfound best buddy, British actor Steve Coogan, with whom he starred in several films.

"I went through it with Steve," Coogan’s former girlfriend, rocker Courtney Love, told US. "I was just out of rehab, and he was right there with the drugs. I tried to warn Owen. I tried to warn his friends. I hope from the bottom of my heart that Owen stays the hell away from that guy."

Wilson’s addiction was so severe, his pal Woody Harrelson tried to stage an intervention at his home in Maui. "Owen went to Maui, Hawaii, to kick his habit," a longtime Wilson pal told the mag. "He was like a baby on that couch."

The friend said that heroin was the first thing that came to mind when Wilson and Hudson split and he suddenly "disappeared off the face of the earth."

Another cause of his depression was his very public split with Hudson it all became too much for the actress when Wilson’s struggles came to light.

She even banned Coogan from Wilson’s house while they were dating. "She knew he was bad," said a source.

If Courtney Love says Steve Coogan is bad news, then he’s REALLY bad news. It’s a good thing Coogan isn’t on trial for murder with Courtney on the stand pointing her bony finger at him saying, "Steve Coogan did it." If Owen was on drugs it’s no wonder he was depressed. I’d like to think it was more the drugs than Hudson, because I really like her as an actress, and I don’t want to imagine her crushing someone’s heart while it beats in her hand.

Yesterday Variety Fair asked Fox if Owen’s mental health situation might affect his participation in "Marley & Me." The Fox spokesman called the question "totally inappropriate." Today it is being reported that Owen is dropping out of a new comedy "Tropical Thunder." Owen was scheduled to begin filming his minor part in a week. Looks like that question was reasonable after all.

Owen Wilson Suicide Attempt Confirmed

On Sunday, August 26 at 12:08:16 p.m police received a 911 call that Owen Wilson had attempted suicide. The log pictured below shows the call that came in. Until now previous claims of a suicide attempt were considered more rumor than truth, but now those claims are fact.

Page Six today said a source claims Owen’s suicide attempt was due to a blowup with a "close pal." I would be more inclined to believe it was over his pain in seeing Kate Hudson making-out with her new guy Dax Shepard in a grocery store on August 25 pictured below. If that’s the close pal the source was talking about then it sounds reasonable.

Vanity Fair is asking what will become of Owen’s acting career. Here’s more:

Wilson, one of Hollywood’s highest-earning funnymen, also is on board to film the 20th Century Fox comedy "Marley & Me," opposite Jennifer Aniston. That film was tentatively scheduled to begin production in January. When asked if production on "Marley & Me" would be affected, a Fox spokesman said, "It’s a totally inappropriate question at this time when all of our thoughts and concerns are with his health and well being."

If I were bank rolling a new film with Owen, I would litterally hire a girlfriend for him while shooting. Owen is a little fragile right now. I mean it’s kinda obvious when he clearly tried to commit suicide. He has a broken heart, and he needs someone to fill the void.

Owen Wilson Attempts Suicide

The National Enquirer claims that Owen Wilson (38) attempted suicide by cutting his wrist, and overdosing on drugs. He was taken to St. John’s hospital in Santa Monica, California on Sunday afternoon. Entertainment Tonight reported that Wilson later was transferred to Cedars-Sinai to undergo detoxification. Entertainment Tonight also reported that Wilson’s brother, Luke Wilson , was seen leaving Cedars-Sinai Sunday night with brother Andrew. The brothers reportedly drove off with an unidentified woman. Andrew is said to have found Owen at his Santa Monica home and called 911.

Owen released a statement neither confirming nor denying anything. He said he would like his privacy while he receives treatment.

Kate Hudson must be really good at getting guys to fall in love with her. Owen is obviously suffering from a broken heart. One of these days science will finish their work on robot women that love men unconditionally, and are programmed to please them in ways that a flesh and blood woman wouldn’t understand. For now though, Owen can turn to online dating services, and porn.

Jessica Simpson’s Movie Blonde Ambition Bombed Before Release

The first story that ever came out about the Jessica Simpson movie "Blonde Ambition," produced by her dad Joe, was when she said on the Jimmy Kimmel Show that she was making it with Luke Wilson co-starring. This was all exciting news for Luke Wilson, because he had never heard of it before that moment. Somehow they did eventually get Wilson to lower himself to this, but the movie continued to be a compete and total failure in every way nonetheless. And now it’s been announced the movie will miss its second release date and get pushed back until late August. Gatecrasher says:

Sources say her manager dad has pushed back the release date twice because the movie is no good.

"First, the release date was set for Aug. 3, and then it was delayed until the last week of August," says an insider. "Papa Joe then intervened and said he wasn’t comfortable with the level of competition from other films that month."

Another source says: "Jessica was not very focused on-set and flubbed her lines often. She always had her dog around, was on the phone with [then-] boyfriend John Mayer or was sitting in a warmed-up SUV."

The source said the film, which is still incomplete, is currently without a firm release date.

You mean a film starring Jessica Simpson is no good? Shocking! If Joe Simpson is worried about other movies being better then there’s no way this thing is ever going to be released. It’s a damn remake of Working Girl. A training video for Burger King would be more engaging. Don’t believe me? Watch the trailer, and then weep for everybody involved in this project.

Luke Wilson Wants the Girl to Break-up

Breaking up is hard to do for Luke Wilson. According to Page Six, the My Super Ex-Girlfriend star recently told Howard Stern: â€œEven if I want out, I donâ€™t have the guts to just leave.â€ The actor, who was a guest on Sternâ€™s Sirius Satellite Radio show, has a roster of exes that includes Gwyneth Paltrow, and Drew Barrymore.

â€œI just start acting really surly and cranky until they leave me. I donâ€™t think anythingâ€™s over the line when you want out. You see the fence, and you just start running for it.â€

How long does it take until the ladies to get the hint and leave? â€œIâ€™d say you need 90 days. Itâ€™s almost like double time, though, because three months feels like six months because youâ€™re so horrible to be with.â€

Luke Wilson Avoids Trouble With Ex-Girlfriends

Luke Wilson learned to end romances as sensitively as possible when his brother’s ex torched his car. The actor admits he rarely gets attacked by exes because they’re more keen to drop him from their lives than attempt to ruin his.

But Wilson, who tries to dump super heroine Uma Thurman in new film My Super Ex-Girlfriend, had a taste of a woman scorned when his older brother Andrew dumped a girlfriend.

He recalls, “He had an ex burn his car. She lit some newspaper on fire and tossed it in the sunroof. The truth of the matter is it was Owen’s (another Wilson brother) car.”

Luke Wilson Banned from Playboy Mansion

Luke Wilson was devastated when he was banned from the famed Playboy Mansion, and made a tearful plea to organizers to allow him back in. The star was denied entry for over a year after attempting to sneak a friend into the mansion by telling gate keepers he was with his actor brother Owen Wilson.

He explains, “I got DNA-ed from the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. That means “do not admit” – thatâ€™s their special word. I tried to get a friend in, and Iâ€™d shown up and they said â€™Who are you with,â€™ and Iâ€™m like â€™Iâ€™m with my brother Owen,â€™ and theyâ€™re like â€™We need to see himâ€™.

“It was actually my friend Eckelman, who doesnâ€™t look anything like Owen. I was not allowed to go there for a year and a half. I had to make kind of a tearful phone call to Mary, the woman who kind of runs the operation. I said, â€™Mary what I did was stupid. It was wrong. Hefâ€™s (Hugh Hefner) been so generous to me…â€™ I actually did, I think, cry on the telephone!”

Is the Playboy Mansion actually cool enough to cry over? If thatâ€™s the case, they I have got to go!
