Syed Rahman Confessed to Killing Ingrid Rivera

Syed Rahman (24), who was an employee at Spotlight Live, confessed to killing Ingrid Rivera at Lil’ Kim’s birthday party.

According to police, the 24-year-old Rahman admitted to hitting Rivera on the back of the head with a lead pipe around 2:45 AM Monday morning.

Police say Rivera, a huge Lil’ Kim fan, paid to attend the event , and even brought the rap diva a bouquet of flowers. According to cops, she and a friend chatted up Rahman while drinking at the bar. At one point in the evening, Rivera was kicked out of the club for accidentally walking into the men’s room. At the same time, according to Rivera’s friend, Rahman coaxed the friend up onto the roof by claiming Rivera was there, that’s when the friend alleges Rahman came on to her. When she blew him off, she says Rahman found Rivera outside and "told her he could get her back in."

Cops say Rahman took Rivera through the employee entrance, up to the roof in a service elevator and that’s when he hit her over the head with a lead pipe inside a utility shed. She was killed instantly.

Rahman worked at the club for four years and has no criminal record.

Prosecutors said Ingrid Rivera’s throat was slit and her head was bashed with a pipe.

At the arraignment for Sayed Rahman, the District Attorney said that Rivera died from "blunt impact trauma" to the head and that "incised wounds to the neck" cut her carotid artery. He’s been charged with second degree murder, and will be in custody until his next court hearing August 13.

A woman named Ingrid Rivera (24) was murdered at a birthday celebration for Lil Kim, aka Kimberly Jones, in Midtown Manhattan on Sunday.

The woman, identified by the police as Ingrid Rivera of Queens, was discovered shortly before 5 p.m. in a utility closet on the roof of Spotlight Live, a live-music venue, nightclub and karaoke bar at 1604 Broadway near 49th Street. An investigator said they believed Ms. Rivera, who worked for British Airways at Kennedy Airport, had left the party and was beaten with a blunt object, possibly a Champagne bottle, and left for dead.

A club bouncer is said to have been "picking on her," and Rivera was last seen with the bouncer from the club. He is the prime suspect.

Jermaine Dupri had trouble at his party too earlier this month. Someone at Dupri’s party was overcharged for getting into the V.I.P. section, so he pulled out a gun and started shooting. Dupri said at the time:

"I’m sad this incident happened because it interrupted a beautiful and loving party. I’m happy none of my people or friends got hurt. And the party continues."

Back in October 2007 his good friend and fellow rapper Da Brat was arrested for allegedly assaulting a waitress in a nightclub that Dupri owned.

Another incident in 1995 turned deadly when a close friend of Suge Knight was shot and killed following a party Dupri held in Atlanta.

Lil Kim’s rep, Ronn Torossian, issued the following statement:

"Lil’ Kim mourns the death of Ms. Rivera. She knew nothing of this incident until she heard media reports."

Trouble attracts trouble. It’s the law of attraction.

Lil Kim Wins Suit Against Lil Cease

Today a Manhattan federal judge awarded Lil Kim $500,000 in a lawsuit against Lil Cease, who is a member of Junior M.A.F.I.A. Lil Cease was sued for selling an unauthorized DVD using Lil Kim’s name. The original lawsuit sought $6 million.

Lil Kim recently had her Bentley repossessed, that she got as a gift from Scott Storch, who can’t afford the payments due to financial difficulties.

In 2005 Lil Cease help put Lil Kim in jail for one month and one day, after he testified in her perjury trial. Lil Kim is going to take his little punk a$$ back to school.

Lil Kim needs to either start making some money, or find some new accountants. Somehow News York’s CW11 news channel was tipped off that a repo man was about to visit Kim, so they sent a camera crew. When the repo man confronted Kim so he could get the keys to her care Kim said she’d have her accountant take care of the problem. The repo service said the car payments are four months behind, so the car is no longer considered her property.

The CW11 reporter said:

"She didn’t wanna cooperate. Basically, she told us to get off the property. We were hoping that she’d give us the keys, being that it’d be the right thing to do. It’s not her vehicle."

Kim responded:

"Oh please, get the f*** outta here. You are so f***ing ridiculous."

The repo man told the reporter:

"We’re really not there to negotiate. The customer, many times, does not understand that we’re gonna take the car with or without their cooperation."

This is what happens when the checks stop coming. Poor Lil Kim.

“I love you,” she said, blowing kisses. Some fans stayed up all night to ensure they made it downtown in time for her 6 a.m. release. “It was worth it,” said Shakiyla Williams, 16. “She was the same Queen Bee fabulous.”

Lil’ Kim is a little more chunk-a-licious than before, but she’s still boob-a-licious.
