Sarah Palin issued through her rep a harsh response when she heard Levi Johnston talked about his relationship with Bristol Palin, who he had a baby with. Sarah said:

"Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We’re disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship."

"Bristol’s focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence. It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child."

"Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship, and is the one taking responsibility for their actions."

Bristol do as I say not as I do, doesn’t seem like the best person to be advocating abstinence, especially since she’s already talking to her old boyfriend, the one before Levi that didn’t get her pregnant … luckily. Sarah better watch her daughter, or she’ll have a second baby to take care of.

Maybe Levi could do more for his child, if the Palins would let Levi do more than just visit at their house.

The half sister of Palin’s husband Todd was accused of breaking into the same Wasilla, Alaska, house twice to steal money, the Associated Press reports. Diana Palin (35) was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal trespass and theft stemming from two break-ins this week.

It seems there is trash on both sides of the family.

Levi Johnston (18) went on The Tyra Banks show and said that he and Bristol Palin practiced safe sex most of the time, but not all the time. Levi also said Alaska Governor Sarah Palin probably knew he and her daughter were having sex, especially since the couple shared a bedroom on occasion.

Levi complained a lot about Bristol’s mood swings, which he seemed to imply were the real reason behind their breakup. Levi said that he is not allowed by Bristol to take their child anywhere, even though he’s allow to see him with Bristol or her parents present.

I knew a hispanic guy in San Diego that was in love with his Chinese girlfriend, so he got a tattoo of her Chinese name in Chinese characters. The whole time the two dated, which was about three years, if I remember correctly, her sex siblings were plotting to break them up. After the tattoo was discovered the oldest brother ordered his sister to break up with the boyfriend, and it was over. The moral of the story, never get a tattoo of your girlfriend, unless she gets a tattoo of your name first, or just don’t do it at all.

Levi’s mom, Sherry, and sister Mercede, joined him on The Tyra Banks Show, talking about the gag order imposed on them during Palin’s vice presidential campaign. Mercede said:

"We were supposed to say that all questions need be brought up to the McCain campaign. Other than that we had to say ’no comment.’"

The Tyra interview with Levi will air on April 6.

A source, confirmed by People, says that Bristol is not dating, but has been "texting and chatting" with a high school boyfriend she had before Johnston. If Bristol was interested in sex enough to get pregnant while in High School, then she’s likely to sleep around now that she’s dumped her baby’s daddy.

Abstinence is a great goal, but it doesn’t work with every teenager.

Bristol Palin gave birth to Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Saturday. The baby was a healthy baby boy who weighed 7 lb, 7 oz.

Even before Tripp was born tabloids were bidding on his pictures. The bidding started at $100,000, but People magazine won the bidding war which ended at $300,000. The price suddenly sky rocketed after Levi’s mom had a drug related arrest.

Levi Johnston is the daddy, and although the couple aren’t married yet, they plan to marry in 2009.

The mother of Levi Johnston, Sherry L. Johnston (42) and future mother-in-law of Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin’s daughter, was arrested on drug charges, the Anchorage Daily News reported Friday. Johnston has been charged with six felony counts of misconduct, which included a fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, or possession.

After being contacted by the Anchorage Daily News, Sarah Palin’s spokesman, Bill McAllister, issued this statement:

"This is not a state government matter. Therefore the governor’s communications staff will not be providing comment or scheduling interview opportunities."

Oh, and Bristol is due to give birth on Saturday.

Back in September the National Enquirer claimed to have video of Britsol using drugs. I didn’t believe the story had any credibility since they never showed the video, but now I am starting to wonder if it could be true.

Sarah Palin has so much star power she is eclipsing Barack Obama’s celebrity spotlight. Women want change, and Sarah is the majority’s voice. In new polls out today, 58% of voters view Palin favorably, which is up from 52% less than a week ago. Even more surprising this morning is the fact that Obama and John McCain are each viewed favorably by 57% of voters, but Palin is viewed favorably by 58%, which is better than both Presidential candidates. Joe Biden is viewed favorably by 48%.

Not surprisingly, fifty-one percent (51%) of Americans believe that most biased reporters are trying to hurt Palin’s campaign. Martin Luther King, Jr. said correctly, don’t judge a person by the color of their skin, or gender, but by the content of their character. Palin doesn’t have associations with criminals, America hating racists, or terrorists, but Obama does. Palin has family issues that are shared by most of America, and she’s managing those issues effectively, which is more than most of us can hope for.

The Palin Vice President pick has also improved perceptions of John McCain. A week ago, just before he introduced his running mate, just 42% of Republicans had a Very Favorable opinion of their party’s nominee. That figure jumped to 54% by this Friday morning. Among unaffiliated voters, favorable opinions of McCain have increased by eleven percentage points in a week-from 54% before the Palin announcement to 65% today.

It seems everyone, including Obama, are comparing Obama and Palin’s experience to be President, when she is only running as the Vice Presidential candidate, and he is running for the Presidential spot. It seems, McCain has risen above both as most qualified, and Palin has captured more attention from those in America who want her brand of change.
