Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Rafaeli Spotted

It’s not easy being green in Hollywood. Leonardo DiCaprio, 31, famously owns an environmentally friendly hybrid car, but still won’t give up his fuel-guzzling private planes, according to Page Six.

On Thursday, DiCaprio, his mom, his grandmother and girlfriend Bar Rafaeli, 21, chartered a private jet from Paris to Rome for some vacation time on the way to the premiere of "The Departed" in Rome.

The group had so much fun in Paris, that they were hoping to return after the premiere on the company’s dime, a source tells the New York Post. "He asked Warner Bros. to put him up in the Bristol Hotel a little longer, and they said, ’Only if he would do more press.’”

No word on whether DiCaprio agreed.

Leonardo DiCaprio Poses with Kids

Leonardo DiCaprio posed with non-white, non-American, children recently. What is it with these stars. I like Leonardo, but c’mon, why can’t American stars doing something for American children? Are there no American children that need help? It’s all for publicity. The intent is not genuine. Which may be true for most stars, but Leonardo is a genuine guy, so he may be one of the few who really does care.

Leonardo DiCaprio and the Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger and Ron Wood pose with Leonardo DiCaprio at the Departed after-party Tuesday night at Guastavino’s in New York City.

The undercover cop movie, The Departed, premiered that evening, which includes mega-stars Leonardo, Jack Nicholson, and Matt Damon. The Rolling Stones contributed their classic "Gimme Shelter" to the soundtrack.

Below a guy passing Leonardo grazes his crotch. I’ll bet the guy bragged about it later, and sniffed his hand.

Leonardo DiCaprio Saves Handicapped Madonna Fans from Madonna-less View

  Share

Leonardo DiCaprio came to the aid of two wheelchair-bound Madonna fans at her Madgesty’s concert last week, Page Six reports. Francesco Clark, 28, – who was a staffer at Harper’s Bazaar magazine until a car accident left him a quadriplegic – had front-row seats to one of Madge’s shows at Madison Square Garden. But when Madonna came onstage, the crowd rushed forward and Clark’s wheelchair was nearly knocked over.

“He couldn’t see anything because people were all standing around him,” a friend of Clark’s told Page Six. “He tried to move to the front, but no one would budge, and nobody cared. Then the security guard came over and was being rude and told him to move.”

It was then that DiCaprio, 31, who was seated in a no-stand zone, came over and offered, “Why don’t you come sit with me and I’ll just move over?” Moments later, the actor moved another wheelchair-bound concertgoer over to his section as well.

Too bad Madonna didn’t say something. Perhaps she just couldn’t see them past the bright lights, but it would have made big news if Madonna had stopped the concert long enough to accommodate wheel-chair seated fans in the front.

Leonardo DiCaprio is obviously showing he has a good heart, and I for one think it’s incredible when someone like him shows kindness to others even though he doesn’t have to. Three cheers for Leonardo DiCaprio.

In Paris, France, Leonardo Di Caprio (31) watched a semifinal tennis match earlier this morning with his mother, Ermeline DiCaprio. Switzerland’s Roger Federer, and Argentina’s David Nalbandian, faced off during the French Open tennis tournament at the Roland Garros stadium (Federer crushed Nalbandian 3-6 6-4 5-2).
Leo hands a hat to mommy Ermeline to protect her from the hot sun.
