Leonardo DiCaprio’s construction of a personal basketball court may wind him up in another kind of court.

The actor’s Los Angeles neighbors, Ronald and Joan Linclau, filed a lawsuit Thursday alleging that DiCaprio’s backyard renovation for the recreation area has caused damage to their uphill property since July 2004.

DiCaprio "maliciously" crossed onto the couple’s property, cutting and removing hedges, excavating "earth, granite and bedrock," which has destabilized their deck and pool, the Superior Court suit alleges.

The neighbors assert that damages exceed $250,000. They also say DiCaprio ignored their repeated demands to stop construction.

Whatever happened to aristocrats settling their differences by approaching their rival with their complaint, slapping them across the face with a glove, challenging the other to a duel, then killing each other with swords or pistols? If I was in DiCaprio’s situation, I’d buy a bunch of big dogs and a catapult. Every weekend I’d have the staff clean up the dog poop, load it into the catapult, and fire it at my rivals house just to let them know that their poop might not stink, but mine does.

Every day it seems gay bloggers are saying someone they have the hots for is gay. The latest targets are Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. Supposedly, they are supposed to be gay lovers, despite the fact that Tobey just had a baby with his woman. Seems like Tobey could just ask his lady to strap one on and give him some satisfaction, rather than risking a romp with DiCaprio at a cheap motel. Of course those cheap motels have those cool vibrating beds, and you could get a lot of satisfaction with a roll of quarters.

Two of Leonardo DiCaprio’s bodyguards were questioned by Israeli police after getting into a fight with paparazzi near the Western Wall in Jerusalem as DiCaprio and Israeli girlfriend Bar Refaeli visited Judaism’s holiest site.

DiCaprio and Refaeli were taking a private tour of the Western Wall tunnels, Reuters reports, and photographers waited outside the tunnels for the couple, whose visit has stirred up a media frenzy in Israel. "Two of DiCaprio’s security guards were questioned by police after being involved in a fight that broke out," said Micky Rosenfeld, a police spokesman, to Reuters. "They are being questioned."

According to sources connected with the incident, a group of paparazzi dangerously swarmed Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Bar Refaeli as the couple tried to board their van after a visit to the Western Wall. The intense crush left the van with severe body damage.

After the celeb couple left the scene, several members of the paparazzi complained to local police that they had been assaulted by two security guards who were working for the star. Those two guards were brought in for questioning. After sorting out the details, police issued several 30-day restraining orders against the paps, ordering them to stay away from Leo and Bar. Former Gangs of New York costars Cameron Diaz and Leonardo DiCaprio catch up at the In Style/Warner Bros. after-party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The duo chatted for a half-hour, at times, whispering into each other’s ears, seemingly oblivious to Diaz’s ex Justin Timberlake, who was holding court with a bevy of ladies.

Justin Timberlake cozies up to Sheryl Crow and Eva Longoria at the In Style/Warner Bros. party, a safe distance from Diaz. All the playful attention (Crow kissed Timberlake on the cheek, while Longoria pulled at his collar) caused the newly single pop star to break out into a little happy dance as he nibbled on dumplings, egg rolls and pork buns.
