Leonardo DiCaprio Shutter Island and Inception

Leonardo DiCaprio has a whole bunch of psychological thriller movies, and other incredible movies coming out over the next few years. DiCaprio is one of my favorite actors of all time, and for good reason. Back in 2005 DiCaprio received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the tender age of 30.

Two movies that look intense are Shutter Island above, and Inception below. Paramount is rumored to have pushed back the release date of Shutter Island from October 2, 2009, to sometime in February 2010. I hope the rumor isn’t true, because I really want to see this movie.

Inception’s video trailer just come online, and it is slated to hit theaters July 16, 2010. Inception seems to have a lot of Matrix special effects.

Leonardo DiCaprio says Kate Winslet Kisses Like His Sister

Leonardo DiCaprio told the Daily Mail he was very comfortable kissing Kate Winslet in their movie Revolutionary Road:

"I was entirely too used to that from doing that film (Titanic) with her, so to me it was very natural. It’s natural and I feel completely comfortable. In a twisted way it’s like kissing a family member."

Sounds like DiCaprio is speaking from experience.

Winslet told Britain’s GMTV Monday that DiCaprio “feels more like my husband than my real husband, I have to say. I’m talking about him so much!”

Revolutionary Road Trailer

What appears to be a trailer for the new movie Revolutionary Road starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio appeared on ET. The story line seems rather depressing, so I’ll probably wait until this one comes out on DVD.

The story is about a young couple living in a Connecticut suburb during the mid 1950s, who struggle to come to terms with their personal problems while trying to raise their two children. Based on a novel by Richard Yates.

Sounds like issues couples are still dealing with today.

IMDB says he release date is December 26, 2008, but the number of screens in the USA will be limited.

Leonardo DiCaprio Has Trouble with NYPD

After the car Leonardo DiCaprio was a passenger in was pulled over, the NYPD searched the car. Leonardo clearly looked uncomfortable. It’s a mystery what cops were looking for, but they found nothing, and let the driver go after about 20 minutes.

Lindsay Lohan was partying on Tuesday in West Hollywood, when after a few too many drinks she got that itch. First she went after former boyfriend Adrian Grenier, who got Linday off of him just in time for his girlfriend to show up. Lindsay then went after Leonardo DiCaprio, who appears to be more interested in avoiding shots of penicillin these days. Leonardo ignored Lindsay.

Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington sat down with this week’s Entertainment Weekly (Now Weekly!) for a revealing interview about working together on their new crime drama American Gangster. Russell also talks about Leonardo DiCaprio’s virginity:

â€œYou know, I worked with Leonardo when he was 18 [on the Western The Quick and the Dead]. He was a virgin, and he would talk about that constantly. So I’m hoping we have some time so he can fill in what’s happened in between. Maybe show some photos. Because I’m sure life’s different now.â€

Leonardo can now brag about banging hot chicks like Bar Refaeli below. I wasn’t as lucky as Leonardo. I lost my virginity long before eighteen. Apparently girls like quiet, shy, smart, muscular boys like me.

Leonardo DiCaprio has been replaced by Kelly Slater, who is now dating Bar Rafaeli. Tom Brady is dating Leonardo’s other ex Gisele Bundchen. Slater got into a scuffle with photographers on Saturday while in Israel with Rafaeli, and was detained by police. Earlier in the year the same thing happened when Leonardo visited Rafaeli in Israel, only it was Leonardo’s body guards, and not Leonardo. Rafaeli had vowed not to bring any else who was famous with her to Isarael because of the trouble with photographers. Slater really isn’t famous despite boning Pamela Anderson and Cameron Diaz, so he probably had to fight photogs just to get his name in the paper. So sad.

Leo looks absolutely smokin’ as he enjoys a ciggy on the set of his latest movie Revolutionary Road in New York City this week. Leo stars alongside Brit beauty Kate Winslet in her director husband Sam Mendesâ€™ new drama based on the novel by Richard Yates. It is the first time the Titanic co-stars have worked together professionally since 1997, and if their on-screen chemistry in the award-winning blockbuster is anything to go by, Revolutionary Road is bound to attract Kate and Leo fans world over when it hits the screens next year.

But itâ€™s not all work work work for Leo in New York. Despite rumors that he had split from actress girlfriend Bar Refaeli recently, he was spotted in Syracuse during the weekend spending time with her between takes of her new movie Session, about a psychiatrist who develops an obsession with one of his patients.

I donâ€™t promote smoking, but Leo sure does look good in that 1960s get up with a cig is his hand. Iâ€™m sure youâ€™ll agree.
