Peter Kowalczyk (29), who is 6 feet 5 inches tall, punched sweetheart, and ex Pizza Hut waitress, Leona Lewis in the side of the head when she bowed her head to sign a copy of her book at a book signing on October 14 in London.

Last night Peter was sectioned under the Mental Health Act after punching Leona. Peter’s father said Peter wants to be a singer, and envied Leona for winning the ITV1 talent show, after he was turned rejected from it. Peter also tried out for X Factor, but was rejected there as well.

Peter has been taken to a psychiatric hospital. Peter’s parents admit their son is mentally ill, and has been getting weekly music therapy by NHS for his psychological problems. Peter’s father said he has also mentioned Alesha Dixon, so watch out Alesha.

Leona’s boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa, and her father, are comforting her during this difficult time. Simon Cowell also called Leona to offer his support.

Alex Donohoe, the frontman for The Rakes, said Lady Gaga looks like a prostitute. We should add she talks like one too.

Donohoe said the Leona Lewis low-key approach is much more appealing. Donohoe told the Daily Star:

"I can’t stand Lady GaGa. She is basically selling crap to kids. I think she’s terrible and really ugly. I hate her."

"Leona Lewis seems dull but nice. She has standards, nice skin and can sing. Whereas Lady GaGa is trash, and dresses like a prostitute."

We totally agree with Donohoe.

Just Jack said Lady Gaga sounds like "a weird singing robot."

Australian singer Gabriella Cilmi has advised GaGa to "put some clothes on" and stop courting the press.

Lady Gaga is following a time tested formula of shock and profit. Madonna still does it, Britney Spears copied it, and now Lady Gaga is riding that gravy train.

When a performer gives up their values for the love of money, they have to accept the criticism as part of the job.

This series of X Factor has been a good fundraiser for the producers with nearly 9 million texts and phone-in’s.
The core value of X Factor is to tour the country looking for an individual uncut diamond of talent, cut and polish it over 9 weeks then put it in the shop window to find it’s own place in the music industry. This year it seems they just opted to take the easy option go to the jewelry store and hope nobody notices.

My gripe is not with Leona but with the manipulative makers of X Factor.

Leona Lewis has won ITV1’s The X Factor.

The 21-year-old beat Raymond Quinn, 18, to a £1 million recording contract in a live final watched by an estimated 12 million viewers. More than 8 million votes had been cast.

Both acts had been mentored by Simon Cowell, who had earlier expressed concerns that Leona, a long-time bookies favorite, had become "the underdog".

But Cowell, like fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, thought that the former receptionist would be able to have global success. "I’ve worked in America for a long time now, and I’ve been told there will be never singer that can represent Britain on a worldwide stage," he told her. "You have proved them wrong."

After the result was announced, a teary Leona said: "Thankyou so much, everyone for voting for me. You’ve all made my dream come true."

Cowell added, "I would just like to say I am possibly the most proud person in the world right now."

Her first single, a cover of American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson’s debut, A Moment Like This, will be released on Tuesday.
