Leighton Meester is saying now her intimate tape is not real, even though it is clearly her in the video. Why do celebrities always take us for fools? Meester said:

“The tape is not real. So it makes me sort of sad. It’s unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did. People think it’s real because somebody says it is. By the way, as for me being 18 in those pictures, I don’t believe I was.”

Unless we are having waking hallucinations about Leighton Meester, then we’ll have to conclude the girl in the video looks exactly like the real Leighton Meester. Unless of course someone is cloning celebrities without their knowledge or permission.

Leighton Meester, who plays Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, made an intimate video tape with her boyfriend, and that tape has been sold to celeb-hotline.com. The web site closed the deal today, and now have the tape available for viewing.

Leighton Meester told Access Hollywood she will be recording an album:

“I am yeah. Technically, yeah I am. I mean, for real this time… I’ve always done [music], just now I am actually doing an album that I plan to release. It’s so cool because it’s a completely different creative process,” Leighton said. “From beginning to end it’s yours and you make it… You can see the finished product. It’s sometimes hard when you’re acting to be like, ‘Oh I see the finished product right before my eyes.’ So it’s cool you’re there from start to finish when you are writing.”

Can she actually sing? Meester sang in the movie Drive Thru in the video above. The song is Inside the Black, by Inside the Black. Sounds like her singing sucks to me. Hopefully she’ll get a lot of professional training, or she’ll bomb like so many actresses turned singers.
