Weepy Anna Nicole Judge Developing TV Show with CBS

We all knew it would happen soon. He had to strike while the notoriety iron was hot.
According to Broadcasting and Cable Magazine, dramatic, camera-loving judge Larry Seidlin is expected to be taping a pilot or "sales presentation" in L.A. next week.
His antics during the Anna Nicole Smith craziness put him on the map and he recently announced intentions to retire and pursue other interests.
A show featuring the emotional jurist is planned for 2008.
You’ve got to wonder what Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead think about this.

Anna Nicole Smith Judge Retires, Plans to Pursue Spotlight

Remember this guy? The judge who wept as he announced his ruling in the Anna Nicole Smith body custody case? Who also popped up in the news last week when his trash came under scrutiny?
This afternoon CNN reports that Judge Larry Seidlin will retire. In a letter written June 13, but made public today, Seidlin writes:
"…it is now time for me to devote more of my daily life to my own young family and to pursue the many opportunities that have been offered to me outside the judicial system, and I have disregarded until now. While those opportunities are varied, they all share in common a further commitment to helping my fellow citizens through roles in the educational system, the media and non-profit organizations.
Seidlin pursuing work in television, as some are speculating, supports accusations made at the time that he intentionally stirred the pot, cried on camera, and increased the wacko atmosphere in one of the circusiest legal proceedings in recent history.
And yes, "circusiest" is a word. A word we just made up.
Anna Nicole Smith Judge Can’t Explain Suspicious Trash

Judge Larry Seidlin has some ’spaining to do. A maintenance worker at his condo complex allegedly discovered an empty envelope marked "X-Rays" that was addressed to Anna Nicole Smith. The envelope turned up in late March, about a month after the judge ruled in the Smith case.
While Judge Seidlin denies any knowledge of how the envelope ended up in his trash, it clearly didn’t get there by itself. Either he’s hiding something or someone else is up to no good.
The envelope’s sender was plastic surgeon, Dr. Robert Kellum, and it was sent to a Hollywood P.O. Box in care of Howard K. Stern.
Of course, Smith’s death has been surrounded by controversy from the start. Why should anything change even months after she was laid to rest?
