Shawn Southwick King Checks Into Rehab

Shawn Southwick King (48), the wife of Larry King (74), checked into rehab to be treated for an addiction to painkillers. A friend said:

"Shawn is in rehab for medication issues related to her chronic migraine problem."

It’s always good to get help.

Larry King Snubs Nick Hogan Victim Family

The John Graziano family are upset with Hulk Hogan, and Larry King. The other night Larry had Hulk on his show whining about how John was a vegetable because God wants him to be a better person, and how Nick was the victim. Larry didn’t offer the Graziano family the opportunity to appear, so they could respond to Hulk. [Maybe because Hulk is a celebrity, and Larry doesn’t care about nobodies. So harsh.]

George Tragos, the lawyer for the Graziano family, had to issue a press statement in lieu of airtime on Larry king:

"No matter how he [Hulk Hogan] tried to spin it, no matter how he tried to cry at the end. It wasn’t going to change people’s minds."

The fact remains that John is a vegetable, yet Nick’s family say Nick is the victim. How’s that for taking responsibility and showing remorse?

Ed McMahon Speaks Out on Foreclosure

Ed McMahon appeared on Larry King Live Thursday night. He was there to explain how a millionaire could have his house foreclosed on. Ed said:

"I want to speak for the million people in America who now have foreclosure signs on their houses. If you spend more money than you make, you know what happens. A couple of divorces thrown in, a few things like that. It’s embarrassing, to say the least."

Ed’s current wife, Pam McMahon, added:

"Because you’re a celebrity, people think you have more than you have."

The injury, which McMahon says has kept him out of the workplace for 18 months, came in "a fall," and said, adding, "I don’t want to elaborate."

"It’s been tough," Pam said, and adds she is reduced to shopping the bargain bins at Target, "but somehow our marriage is strong." She also noted that her husband’s neck injury has been "a little tough on the sex life, too."

Is there a connection between Ed’s broken neck and sex? Viagra needs to hire him as a spokesman.

Larry King Could Die on the Air

Larry King and CNN have agreed to extend his contract until June 2011. This is good news. It was rumored that Katie Couric was being considered to take over for King if he left when his contract expired. Katie would have killed the show in less than a year, just like she’s doing to CBS news. By the time Larry does retire CNN will probably be able to replace him with a robot. A Larry King robot.

Brad Pitt Answers Larry King Cheating Question

The always charming Brad Pitt answered questions from Larry King regarding his family and relationship. One question which came was unexpected when Larry asked about working with someone he was already emotionally involved with while he was still married, meaning Angelina Jolie while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston.
