Pamela Bach isn’t taking her loss in the custody battle for her kids lightly. David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife recently lost custody of the former couple’s two teenage daughters to The Hoff, despite the Baywatch star’s tragic and hilarious drunk video that has taken over the Internet.

The former Mrs. Hasselhoff is reportedly in the process of firing her lawyer, Debra Opri. Does that name ring a bell? It should, because Opri was the lawyer who represented Larry Birkhead in the famous custody battle over Anna Nicole Smith’s baby. As you may recall, Birkhead fired Opri also. Does anyone like this Opri woman?

Meanwhile, Bach is looking into hiring K-Fed’s divorce attorney instead. Best of luck with that, Pamela.

Larry Birkhead Protects Dannielynn from the Media

dannielynn Larry Birkhead Protects Dannielynn from the Media

At least when he isn’t being paid for the pictures.

The photo speaks for itself, reminiscent of the Blanket Jackson pics of 2002, except that this protective Dad not long ago provided exclusive access and photo ops to OK! Magazine for an undisclosed sum.

Larry Birkhead says all proceeds went directly to a trust fund set up for the baby.

Could be that he just wants to guard her privacy and her little bitty baby eyes from the paparazzi flashbulbs.

But it’s more fun to think he deployed the blanket strategy to prevent dilution of the value of little Miss Smith-Stern-Birkhead’s superstar image.

Expect the next big tab coup to be the first birthday party.

Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn Have Landed in the U.S.

Anna Nicole Smith’s ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead arrived in Kentucky from the Bahamas on Tuesday with their infant daughter and said he is looking forward to introducing the baby to his family.

"It just feels good to be home," Larry Birkhead said after stepping off a private jet and walking up to a fence where more than a dozen photographers and a handful of reporters were gathered.

Birkhead said he plans to show off 7-month-old Dannielynn to his family in Louisville and "relax and horse around."

From Kentucky Larry and his daughter Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead will head to Los Angeles.

The custody fight is not over. Birkhead must return with his daughter to a Bahamian court next month for a formal custody hearing. Virgie Arthur is the only obstacle standing in Birkhead’s way.

Larry Birkhead Sums Up His Court Victory

"It was an expensive day for her…in that sense I guess I got a divorce from Virgie and the child I didn’t know we had together. Her arguments were nonsense."

- Larry Birkhead commenting on Virgie Arthur’s court filing intended to prevent Larry and Dannielynn from leaving the Bahamas, saying they wouldn’t return for the next court hearing.

A three judge panel ordered Arthur to pay $3,000 in court fees for essentially wasting everyone’s time.

Larry Birkhead Cuts Deal to Pay Legal Bills

  Share

Larry Birkhead has to pay his legal bills somehow, and here’s the how.:

There’S a good reason why NBC has been getting scoop after scoop in the Anna Nicole Smith soap opera and leaving the other networks in the dust – it has a secret $1 million deal with Larry Birkhead, the biological father of her 7-month-old baby, Page Six has learned.

An insider tells us the network’s parent, NBC Universal, sealed the deal with Birkhead shortly after Anna Nicole’s funeral, and that’s why it’s getting exclusives that end up on the network’s "Today" and "Access Hollywood" programs and on its Bravo channel.

A rep for Bravo confirmed to us last night: "NBC Universal has an exclusive contract with Larry Birkhead and we don’t discuss the terms of our deals."

Our source says the Birkhead deal is almost up, but one more big scoop is in the works. Birkhead and little Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead are flying from the Bahamas to Los Angeles today. "They’ll be on board a Bravo-funded plane along with Howard K. Stern and the network is planning some kind of big interview," our insider says.

"NBC-Universal made the deal with Larry right after the funeral. NBC did it through their entertainment division so there wouldn’t be any uproar about it coming from news."

Indeed, "Access Hollywood" just scored a copy of the baby’s newly-issued birth certificate. Last month, Birkhead exclusively revealed to the show a tattoo he has of the late blond bombshell just above his jean line. "I have a tattoo on my back so I carry that around," he gushed to the show. "It’s a picture of Anna so wherever I go, she goes."

When Birkhead and his lawyer, Debra Opri, went their separate ways, "Access Hollywood" was the first to report it. "Today" has also had its scoops. When Birkhead was officially ruled the biological father, he went on the show first to describe his joy, gushing, "Yesterday was just a great day for me and Dannielynn."

Birkhead’s lawyer could not be reached.

If they wouldn't discuss the terms of the agreement, then how do you know it was for 1 million?
