Earlier today news broke that Alec Baldwin had left a very nasty phone message for his daughter Ireland. Click here to read the story and listen to the message.

Alec Baldwin’s rep. released this statement to Extra, just hours ago:

"In the best interest of the child, Alec will do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing…keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order. The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order. Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years."

Since when does parenting equal abusive language? Alec has some serious anger management issues. As Angry as he may be at Kim Bassinger, he should know better than to ever take that anger out on his daughter, and then blame it on her mother rather than apologizing for acting inappropriately. Ireland is going to learn from his example, and he’ll blame that on Ireland’s mother too.

On a side note, If Basinger was the one who leaked the tape, it would not be her first time violating a court order. On Oct. 4, she was arraigned on several misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt.

Earlier today, a motion by Basinger’s lawyers to dismiss contempt charges against her, related to her divorce from the “30 Rock” star was denied, City News Service reported.

Basinger had contempt charges filed against her last year for allegedly disobeying court orders related to Baldwin’s visitation rights of his daughter.

City News Service reports that if convicted Basinger faces up to 60 days in jail and a $12,000 fine.

Both Baldwin and Basinger did not attend the court proceeding earlier today.

“Access Hollywood” has been unable to reach Basinger’s representatives about the matter.

Hopefully Basinger will be held accountable for her own bad behavior, then maybe Ireland can civil parents again, but it’s going to have to be forced by the court it looks like.

Kim Basinger may face sixty days in jail and a $12,000 fine when she makes an appearance in court tomorrow on twelve contempt of court charges. Basinger is accused of breaching a custody agreement she shares with ex-husband Alec Baldwin, who claims the LA Confidential actress failed to notify him when she was out of town and also failed to inform him when their daughter Ireland suffered an injury and required medical attention. Baldwin alleges the actress has a "pathological need" to keep Ireland away from her father, and that "her resentments are more precious to her than the emotional well-being of her child."

Courts don’t care if a child ever sees his/her father. Odds are Basinger will get a slap on the wrist, and like last time, the court will probably just grant Alec an extra three days of time with his daughter, but as before, Basinger will just prevent Alec from seeing his daughter. The courts are so anti-fathers it makes me want to puke.

Kim Basinger has been arraigned on contempt charges. Former Hubby Alec Baldwin triggered the case by alleging that Kim is guilty of a laundry list of violations in their ongoing custody dispute. Among Baldwin’s allegations, that Basinger blocked his visitation rights, blocked his rights to speak with his daughter on the telephone and failed to notify him when the child suffered an injury.

Basinger pled not guilty through her lawyer, Neal Hersh. The actress did not appear for the arraignment.

The former couple has been locked in an epic custody battle over 10-year-old Ireland. Baldwin has alleged Basinger is thwarting his ability to parent. Basinger has said, right back at you, Alec.

Basinger faces 12 counts of contempt. Each count carries a maximum penalty of $1,000.

I hope bitter and vidictice Kim B. gets the maximum, and they change custody, so she can see what it feels like to be on the other end. I feel sorry for Ireland, but what else is Alec supposed to do, just never see his daughter again so there isn’t any more trouble with Kim? She’s the problem right?
