Kevin Jonas (21) asked Danielle Deleasa (22) to marry him early Wednesday morning, and presented her with a 3 carat cushion cut diamond set in platinum double shank band with 210 round pave diamonds (pictured below). Danielle described the moment Kevin popped the question:

“I didn’t see the ring for a while because I couldn’t believe what he just asked me. I was looking at him, like ’Are you serious?’ When he pulled out that ring, I was like ‘Oh gosh.’ I said something like ‘Oh my God,’ and then I started crying.”

As expected Danielle said "YES!" No wedding date has been set yet.

Dad Kevin Senior and Mom Denise Jonas released the following statement in response to the engagement:

"Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle Deleasa for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our families celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support."

Kevin flew from Vancouver to New Jersey to pop the question:

"It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world."

"She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row."

Of course she said yes. Danielle is a hairdresser from New Jersey, getting married to anyone with an income better than her is a career move forward. We don’t want to sound all negative about Kevin’s fantasy of a dream marriage with children, but this sounds rather impulsive, in fact we think Kevin can hardly wait to consumate the marriage having taken a vow of chastity until the wedding night. We think it is far too early in Kevin’s career and life for him to be getting married.

We hope Kevin is smart enough to have a prenup.

Even before the couple are married Danielle already has an LV bag purchased by Kevin. She’s definitely a material girl.

The Jonas Brothers had an engagement party. Danielle wore her 3 carrot rock.

A song called Paranoid from the Jonas Brothers is said to be about Joe’s ex girlfriend Taylor Swift. Joe Jonas denies the song is about Taylor. Nick Jonas said:

"This is really funny because people think this is about something particular, but the truth to that is it’s one of the only songs of the record that’s not about a direct personal experience."

Kevin Jonas added:

"It’s, like, the most general song."

The lyrics go something like this:

• Caught in a nightmare
• Can’t wake up
• That’s why my ex is still my ex
• I never trust a word she says
• I’m running all the background checks
• And she’s freaking out

That doesn’t sound like Taylor, that sounds more like a song about Nick’s ex Miley Cyrus, except Nick wouldn’t be the one who is paranoid, it would be Miley, she even said she’s possessive like that.

I guess some think the song is about Taylor, because she likes to write songs about ex boyfriends herself. I think it’s all about Miley.

The Jonas Brothers released their new single Paranoid.

The Jonas Brothers announced their 2009 world tour dates and locations, which will take them to three different continents, and new songs. Jordin Sparks will be the opening act.

The average ticket prices for the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009: $90.00, $69.50, $49.50, $29.50. That seems kind of expensive, but then again it’s the Jonas Brothers right?

This is a video of Jayla Cooper who is dying from leukemia. She married her 7 year-old friend, Jose Griggs, after meeting him in the hospital. The couple danced at their reception to the Jonas Brothers hit Love Bug per Jayla’s request.

On Sunday Jayla was visited in person by the Jonas Brothers who sang Love Bug to her in person at her home. The tears start flowing when the Jonas Brothers arrive around the 2:10 mark.
