Keira Knightley was at the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest Premiere at Disney Land in Anaheim, California today. Pirates opens July 7th, Woo Hoo! Mickey Mouse smoozed Keira right there on the red carpet. Rumor has it that Mickey is hung like a horse, and reports are that Keira got Mickey’s number after the show. Recently Mickey rejected Paris Hilton’s advances when she visited Disney Land. Mickey thought she was Barbie. Stoking the Gay rumors, in addition to Mickey’s purple outfit, Mickey got frisky with Orlando Bloom at the after-party. Ah heck, they were all over each other. Other stars also came out for the Pirates premiere including, Orlando Bloom, who was joined later in the evening by girlfriend Kate Bosworth, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and first lady Maria Shriver, Johnny Depp, Marilyn Manson, and more. Johnny Depp With His Family in Nice, France
In Nice, France actor Johnny Depp, 42, travelled through a Nice airport earlier this month with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, 33, and his two kids, Lily-Rose Depp, 6, and Jack Depp, 4. Keira Knightley Is the Face of Chanel
Keira Knightley is the new face of Coco Mademoiselle. The rumours circulating
the French fashion house for the last two months were confirmed yesterday with
Keira thought to have received at least $1 million for a one year contract
involving both print and television ads. Campaigns for the fragrance have been
fronted by Kate Moss since it was launched in 2001 and yesterday Chanel refused
to comment on the troubles in the British supermodel’s private life last year
that lead to the end of several high profile ad campaigns. "
Chanel has enjoyed
its collaboration with Kate for the last six years, which continues until the
end of 2006, and Chanel maintains a close relationship with Kate Moss. Keira
Knightley becomes the new face of Coco Mademoiselle in 2007," Christine
Dagousset, executive vice president of fragrance and beauty for Chanel, told WWD.
"We think Keira is the perfect Coco Mademoiselle woman because she is always
incredibly alluring and seductive. [She] possesses beauty, elegance and
modernity, so she has many qualities that parallel other iconic Chanel faces in
previous fragrance campaigns.
What makes Keira exceptional is that she shows
strength and independence through the film roles she chooses to play. And she
certainly has a vein of irreverence that is similar to Mademoiselle Chanel
herself. In fact, we think of Coco Mademoiselle as the fragrance Mademoiselle
would wear if she were 21 years old in the 21st century. Coincidentally, Keira
turned 21 in March."
Keira replaces Kate Moss who has been the face of Coco since 2001, and also
went on to serve as the face and nose of coca on the cover of the Daily Mirror.
