Katy Perry blasted rumors that she and Benji Madden were more than friends with benefits. Now Benji has echoed those comments saying on Australia’s 2Day FM radio:

“No, it’s not true, we’re friends. She’s beautiful. When you’re friends with someone, you don’t want to ever compromise a friendship.”

After the almost couple was spotted getting almost make-out cozy at Sin City hotspot Wasted Space at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, we’d say they have the perfect friends with benefits relationship.

Katy Perry performed an acoustic version of her single Thinking of You at the Echo Awards in Germany over the weekend.

*Clap clap clap* Great job Katy. You sounded great.

On Wednesday in London, Katy Perry puked at the Brit Awards show right after Lionel Richie presented her with the Best International Female Award.

The flu sucks, especially when you’re butt looks big and fat in leather pants while you’re head is in the toilet.

Katy Perry told TV Guide:

"I’ve actually taken a vow of celibacy this year. No kissing anyone. Just my cat, Kitty Purry."

Once her comment was printed Katy released another statement saying her first one was a joke:

"That was a joke!" Katy says. "And any fine journalist would have gotten that joke and inserted that in the context. I’m not going to be celibate, I guess I’m just going to be looking for the right one. But please! Celibacy for a whole year?! I’d rather die!" Katy laughs. "That’s just how the media works," she continues, "I’m a continual prankster and a jokester, and people forget that you have to interpret that if I’m telling a joke."

We’ll never know for sure when Katy is being serious. Paris Hilton made that mistake. Don’t say it if you don’t mean it.
