Katherine Heigl With Her New Asian Baby

katherine heigl asian korean baby Katherine Heigl With Her New Asian Baby

Katherine Heigl went out and got herself a Korean baby, probably because she’s just too lazy to have her own. I hope babies like cigarettes because Katherine smokes a lot.

The girl was named Nancy Leigh, after Heigl’s mother Nancy and sister Margaret Leigh, but call her by her nickname Naleigh.

I have a question that keeps popping into my head. Why do celebrities keep buying babies from foreign countries? What’s wrong with American babies? Oh, I think I know the answer. You can’t buy American babies as easily as foreign babies.

Katherine Heigl Will Stay with Grey’s Anatomy

Katherine Heigl Will Not Die on Grey’s Anatomy

Katherine Heigl came crawling back to Grey’s Anatomy with her tail between her leg, after acting like a diva for so long, and even trying to break her contract with the show. On Friday, the diva said she’s ready to stay with "Grey’s Anatomy" and the decision rests with the show. Heigl said:

"I was assuming that at one point and I got a lot of shrugged shoulders and shakes of the head, so I don’t know if that’s a yes or a no. No one will tell me and I don’t know how this is going to go."

"I don’t know if I live or die. I don’t know how Izzie fares."

"I’m there" if Izzie remains part of "Grey’s Anatomy," Heigl said. She called the set "one of my favorite places to be" and said her colleagues are also friends.

On Friday, Heigl said she’s comfortable balancing movies and TV by working on big-screen projects during the summer hiatus for "Grey’s Anatomy."

"I’m more than happy to make that compromise. As my agent likes to say, ’High-class problems,’" Heigl said.

"I don’t know if I want to continue for five years working 12 months a year, but I can take at least another year or two."

Patrick Dempsey said he intends to fulfill the remaining two years on his contract with "Grey’s Anatomy and "then we’ll see what happens after that."

Last month, fellow cast member James Pickens Jr. said Heigl was leaving the show, along with T.R. Knight, both of whom declined comment at the time. Knight missed the studio party because he’d previously scheduled the day off, an ABC spokeswoman said.

We say let Izzie die, and send Heigl packing. Everyone is tired of having a diva on the set. We’re tired of Heigl’s ungrateful attitude.

Katherine Heigl Will Not Die on Greys Anatomy

Katherine Heigl Will Not Die on Grey’s Anatomy

Despite the rumors, Katherine Heigl will remain on the next season of Grey’s Anatomy.

“She’s absolutely staying with the show,” ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson said Wednesday at the Television Critics Association’s annual fall preview, putting to rest growing rumors of a fallout between the actress and the show.

In June, Heigl stunned millions of Grey’s fans, publicly snubbing the show’s writers by withdrawing her name from Emmy consideration, saying, “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination.”

More recently, rumors circulated that Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes was going to kill off her character Izzie with a life-threatening brain tumor.

McPherson says contrary to the rumors, Heigl is returning, and getting a juicy storyline: “There’s an unbelievable storyline for her which is really central to everything that’s going to go on this season. We’re really excited about that.”

The news that Heigl will remain in her contract is bad news for her. Everyone knows she wants off the show so she can pursue big time movie roles. The other actors are probably even more disappointed, since they now have to deal with her ego on the set even longer.

Katherine Heigl is Ungrateful

Katherine Heigl is Ungrateful

Katherine Heigl has a lot to learn about humility. The L.A. Times asked why she didn’t submit herself for an Emmy award for her work on Grey’s Anatomy. She said:

"I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials."

Blame it on the writers. Actresses like Heigl really need a pay cut, and the writers need a raise. They’re supposed to be a team, but actors for too long have thought they were somehow better than the writers. So much arrogance.

Heigl has won an Emmy award before for her work on Grey’s anatomy. An insider for the show told Entertainment Weekly:

“The show bent over backwards to accommodate her film schedule, and then she criticizes the show for lack of material? It’s an ungrateful slap in the face to the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place.”

Last year Heigl complained she wasn’t getting a raise, but she did get one. Heigl also publicly said she wanted out of her Grey’s Anatomy contract. It looks like she’s going to cause a lot of trouble until she gets fired.

This isn’t going to help rumors that Heigl is a diva that’s difficult to work with. It must be even worse being married to her.

Katherine Heigl Wants Out of Her Contract

katherine heigl wants out Katherine Heigl Wants Out of Her Contract

Katherine Heigl scored two successful movies with Knocked Up (saw it and liked it) and 27 Dresses (didn’t see it). She now believes she can successfully make the transition full time to the silver screen, so she wants out of her Grey’s Anatomy contract. A source said:

“She’s working really long hours and is ready to move on. She’s a smart one. She saw what can happen with someone like Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can’t seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early.”

ABC, who is owned by Disney, isn’t likely to allow Heigl out of a recently negotiated contract. When they’ve got a cash cow they milk it with both hands.
