Jon Gosselin Sues TLC
It’s old news that TLC is suing Jon Gosselin for breach of contract, but now Jon is suing TLC for $5 million saying its representatives damaged his reputation and career by preventing him from working with other media outlets, which according to TLC would violate his exclusive contract and is the reason for TLC’s lawsuit against Jon. Mark Heller, Jon’s attorney, said:
"Their behavior has caused Jon great anguish and it has caused him financial losses. They had a cadre of lawyers so they had a one-sided agreement."
Gosselin’s lawsuit, a counterclaim against a lawsuit that TLC has filed against him, also claims the network breached its own contract with Gosselin and owes him $175,000 for shows that already aired. The Gosselins’ contract, dated April 28, 2008, says he gets $22,500 for each half-hour episode and $45,000 for each one-hour episode, according to the lawsuit.
Jon’s rep is also saying today that the allegations there is an intimate tape with Jon and women, and that Jon snorted cocaine, are both untrue. Thomas Meinelt, Jon’s bodyguard, is reportedly also considering filing a lawsuit against the National Enquirer for being "accused falsely in this whole story," after the National Enquirer claimed Meinelt testified about the cocaine and video tape in court proceedings.
There is some good news though, Jon and Kate Gosselin will be spending Christmas together with the kids. Let’s hope the adults will speak like civil adults for the kids’ sake that day.

Octomom Celebrates Halloween Early

Nadya Suleman dressed up as a nun, and some of her kids as little devils. This reflects her twisted sense of reality. The kids should have been dressed as little angels, and Nadya should have been dressed as the devil.
Kate Gosselin should also wear a devil costume, while Jon Gosselin should wear a big baby costume.
Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman Kissing

Almost broke Jon Gosselin, and his girlfriend Hailey Glassman, took a horse and carriage ride to a dinner date at The Oak Room in New York.
Kate Gosselin, if you’re reading this, take a few deep breaths and count to ten before you explode.
Did you hear the other day Jon was sued by TLC for breach of contract? Yes. Well, so did Jon. He found out from his Google alerts he setup to alert him of any news reports about himself.
Jon has flushed his image as a good father right down the toilet.

Jon Gosselin Sued By TLC For Breach Of Contract

The TLC network has sued Jon Gosselin for allegedly breaching his contract as a star of the hit reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8.
The lawsuit, filed Friday in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Md., alleges that Gosselin has failed to meet his obligations as an exclusive employee of the network, while appearing on rival networks’ programs for pay and making unauthorized public disclosures about the show.
In light of Gosselin’s alleged "erratic public behavior, unprofessional conduct and serial disregard for his contractual obligations," TLC on September 29 announced the program would be re-launched in November as Kate Plus Eight, with Jon Gosselin taking a back seat role to single mother Kate and the eight kids.
The lawsuit claims that he responded with a request to be released from his exclusive arrangement to pursue other paying opportunities while continuing to be compensated by TLC.
When TLC declined to comply with such a release, Gosselin notified TLC that he would attempt to bar TLC’s access to the family property and filming of his children, the suit says, "on the grounds that it is purportedly detrimental to the children."
TLC said in a statement earlier today:
"The network has been trying privately and patiently for months to get Jon to honor the contract he signed and to comply with his obligations relating to public appearances and statements. Those efforts have been unsuccessful."
A statement from Gosselin’s attorney, Mark Jay Heller, called the allegations "weak, feeble and baseless," and the contract "unenforceable and unconscionable." Heller released the following statement:
“Apparently, TLC has elected to initially litigate this case in the Court of Public Opinion, rather than the Circuit Court for Montgomery County Maryland because neither Jon nor I have been served with legal pleadings or informed by TLC of the instant litigation."
"Remarkably, instead, I read the alleged Complaint on the internet, since it would appear that Discovery and TLC chose to pander and publicize their weak, feeble and baseless claim to the media rather than providing the Defendant with appropriate notice through the traditional judicial process."
"Jon will vigorously defend against this baseless action, assuming Discovery and TLC choose to go forward with their claim by legally serving him with notice, and we are confident that through the course of litigation it will clearly be evident that Discovery and TLC exploited, manipulated and abused the Gosselins’ vulnerability and financial hardship."
"We believe that the contract will be unenforceable in light of the fact that Discovery and TLC initially had Jon execute a complicated, complex and sophisticated agreement at a time when he had no legal representative. In any event, when TLC and Discovery ended the program Jon & Kate plus eight they also effectively terminated the purported contract and accordingly, any rights or obligations they perceived existed concerning Jon’s conduct or actions, rights or privileges from that point forward were also terminated."
"The contract was against Public Policy because we believe Discovery and TLC violated Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws, failed to seek appropriate State and Municipal Permits, failed to pay the Gosselins fair consideration, and intentionally circumvented their responsibility to specifically designate legal and lawful compensation to the eight infant children, which is now the subject of an investigation by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry and could result in summary Criminal Proceedings."
"The purported Contract was also grossly overreaching and restrictive attempting to abridge the most basic Constitutional Right that all American citizens have of Freedom of Speech. Discovery and TLC has treated Jon Gosselin like a dog by attempting to keep him on a leash and muzzle him and deny the father of eight the opportunity to earn a livelihood to support his family."
"All of the aforesaid, clearly, in our opinion, renders the alleged contract as null and void, unenforceable and unconscionable."
"Clearly, this litigation has heralded in the battle of ‘David’ against ‘Goliath’ and Jon Gosselin fully intends to stand firm, protect his family and defend against TLC and Discovery who have been rumored to have enjoyed over $186 million dollars in revenue for one quarter, purportedly attributed to the success of the program Jon & Kate plus eight."
"This litigation is clearly a tactic that Discovery and TLC have initiated in furtherance of their hunger to jump back on the gravy train, but Jon Gosselin has decided to put the breaks on the Discovery and TLC trainwreck.”
Earlier this week, Jon was ordered to return $180,000 in marital funds by October 26.
By the time all of this is over Jon is going to be broke, owing child support, and will be headed for jail because he can’t afford to pay that child support, then the media will call him a dead beat dad. Jon has been his own worst enemy. Now all Jon has to do to completely screw himself is to upset Hailey Glassman, and have her trash Jon even more in the media.
Stephanie Santoro Claims Jon Gosselin Hacked Kate Gosselin Email

Stephanie Santoro, who claimed to have had an affair with Jon Gosselin, alleges Jon hacked into Kate Gosselin’s Email, phone records, and online bank accounts. A statement was released for Kate by Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, her Philadelphia law firm:
"Kate Gosselin has heard the allegations made by Stephanie Santoro that Jon Gosselin ’hacked’ into her emails, phone, and online accounts, and she is profoundly disturbed by them. Under the circumstances, Ms. Gosselin is carefully considering all of her legal options regarding this matter, and she will pursue them if and when the time is right."
Jon’s attorney then released this statement:
"I spoke with him today concerning this statement made by Stephanie and he unequivocally told me that he’s never illegally invaded Kate’s electronic privacy in any way," says his attorney, Mark Heller. "He also finds it a little disappointing that Kate would give credence to an uncorroborated statement made by an individual who clearly has a motivation to tell stories about Jon that might result in financial compensation."
Santora isn’t believable. How could Jon hack into a bank? Is he some expert hacker now? Besides, Jon and Kate have joint bank accounts, so he’d have access anyway.
Kate is starting to believe every tabloid story she reads. If it’s negative about Jon, Kate believes it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kate offered tabloid articles as evidence at their divorce trial, if that happens. Of course, Jon isn’t giving Kate any reason not to hate him, and maybe that’s what he wants, to stick it Kate for all those years she controlled every aspect of his life. Jon is a like a teenager rebelling against his mom.
