Britney Spears Arrives in Court Half a Day Late

Britney Spears pulled a Michael Jackson appearance, finally making it to court half a day late to talk to the judge about denying her emergency request to see her children. Looks like she found her cigarettes, and slept off the affect of those sleeping pills. She was met at the courthouse, and escorted to the courtroom by 15 Sheriff’s deputies. She wore a black shirt, and jeans, and she is drinking a Coke in court. With her history with Coke maybe Pepsi would have been a better choice today. Britney kept her sunglasses on in court, because she’s got pink eye from keeping her head up her butt. Britney’s lawyer asked the media to leave so stay tuned for updates to this post …

Update: Britney has just left the courtroom in tears and extremely upset. What did she expect after showing complete disrespect for the judge, and our legal system? Mark Vincent Kaplan will release a statement in about 30 minutes.

Update 2: L.A. County Court Commissioner Scott Gordon is allowing Britney Spears one overnight visit with her kids per week, but only if it is monitored. Monitored by who, her mom, or the court ordered monitor?

Update 3: Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said after the hearing, that he met with Britney’s lawyers during the lunch hour and told the court that they all agreed to “slightly increase” Britney’s visitation. In other words, K-Fed agreed to give Britney a break, and a chance. The parties have not reached an agreement on who the monitor will be, however, the parties also said they have not chosen a different monitor than the one already in place as ordered originally by the court. This means Britney’s mom won’t be the monitor unless the two sides agree to it. Kaplan added, “…there are protections already in place for the kids.”

Britney Spears Lost Physical Custody of The Kids

You literally heard it here first. That headline was an omen of what was to come. Today it’s official. Britney Spears was ordered by a Los Angeles court to turn over physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James to their father Kevin Federline. TMZ reports:

L.A. County Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon issued an order today, stating that Kevin Federline, the boys’ father, "is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00 PM until further order of the court."

Judge Gordon had ordered Spears to undergo random drug testing and take parenting classes. Sources say Federline’s powerhouse lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan (left), raised the issue that Spears was driving without a valid California driver’s license…

… Spears took the kids to the drive-thru at Carl’s Jr. at 12:02 this afternoon and surrendered the kids to K-Fed’s bodyguard three minutes later.

A source connected with the case says Spears was not focusing on the judge’s order last month, and she may not have attended the parenting classes or performed the required drug and alcohol testing.

Britney really earned this decision, so she can call it her own. The only surprise is that the judge didn’t turn the kids over to Federline a lot sooner. Only Britney would take the kids through the Carl’s Jr. drive-thru before turning them over. She probably only got herself something, cause momma hungry, momma gotta eat, baby no cry, make momma mad. Last week Britney cried as she left her first drug test. It’s possible she failed the test. Kevin’s lawyer pointed out that Britney has been charged with hit-and-run, plus driving without a valid license. Click here to see video of the accident. She filled out part of the paperwork at the DMV, but never completed it, so she has no license, and has been driving despite the charges, even on the day she turned the kids over.

Picture row 1: Over the weekend, Britney went out for Greek food at Taverna Toni in Malibu, but is too lazy to carry even one of her two kids she brought there. Do kids like Greek food?

Picture row 2: Pictures of Britney smashed white Mercedes which was obviously in an another car accident, after her black one which was involved in the hit-and-run accident. A second accident even though she shouldn’t even be driving.

Picture row 3 and 4: Over the weekend Britney went out for Mexican food, and looks like she may have brought a margarita home with her. Open alcohol containers are illegal in cars. Perhaps the judge saw these pictures too.

Picture row 5: Over the weekend, Britney takes her dog to Starbucks. Where are the kids?

Picture row 6 and 7: Last night about midnight Britney runs out of gas a second time, and the paparazzi have to fill’er up, again. Then she shops at Ralph’s. What is she doing out at midnight when she has the kids at home for the weekend?

The judge probably knows about all of this, and is finally, I mean FINALLY forcing Britney to be responsible for her actions. Don’t forget about Britney’s former bodyguard who submitted a declaration about Britney’s bad behavior. She was even banned from the Chateau Marmont for smearing food all over her face. What is it going to take for Britney to start acting like an adult? The judge is her daddy now, and he’s finally showing Britney some tough love. First Britney lost her car keys, then her husband, then her mind, and now her kids.

Lauren Conrad from The Hills was filming in her bikini on a beach. Life is so hard for those girls from The Hills. E! Online’s Answer B!tch provided a ball-park estimate of reality star incomes, including Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag from MTV’s series The Hills:

Well, Lauren "L.C." Conrad does get to operate ongoing hot war with Heidi Montag in the pages of Us Weekly every week, free of charge. If that’s not a fine compensation, I don’t know what is. Oh, wait. Yes, I do. How about an estimated $10,000 to $25,000 per episode? That’s the general industry range for top reality stars such as Conrad, Montag, wannabe K-Fed or Spencer Pratt.

A reality star is what a spoiled pretty girl becomes when she’s too lazy to make an honest living as an escort.

Britney Spears Investigated for Child Abuse

Britney Spears is under investigation for possible child abuse. According to TMZ:

An unscheduled hearing was held today at L.A. County Superior Court. Present — Britney’s lawyer, Dennis Wasser, K-Fed’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan and a lawyer from the Los Angeles County Counsel who is assigned to the dependency court. We do not know the specifics of the allegations but we’re told the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is conducting an active investigation. A hearing in the custody case has been scheduled for September 4, which will be a follow up to today’s appearance.

Britney may be guilty of wearing ugly hats, strange wigs, and having no fashion sense, but all she’s guilty of is having a great body. It’s not like they found babies buried in her yard, or cigarette burns on her kids. Britney is no different than many irresponsible mothers throughout the U.S. Sure it’s true she’s not a great parent, and as bad as Kevin Federline is he’s still a better parent, barely. How is this going to help this family or make the kids safer? It’s not, but taking the kids away from Britney would make us all feel better. After all, she dumped that loser K-Fed, then failed to make a comeback. For that she shall be punished. Courts are all about winners and losers, not being fair and balanced, and the real losers are always the kids.

The allegation being made is rumored to be that Britney has been slipping alcohol into the kids’ drinks so they’ll stay calm and go to sleep easier.

K-Fed Turns Down Reality Gig But Accepts Role On One Tree Hill

According to 24/Sizzler, K-Fed has forsaken The Hills for the sake of just one…One Tree Hill, that is.

Kevin Federline surprisingly passed on a seemingly lucrative offer from Brody Jenner this past weekend in Las Vegas: To have a cameo on The Hills! But Kevinâ€™s not worried: He just landed a stint on the CWâ€™s One Tree Hill!

On Sunday night at Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Brody and The Hills star Audrina Patridge were partying with their own group of friends, but at one point, they left their poolside cabana to mingle with Kevinâ€™s posse. â€œBrody invited Kevin over to the Palms to make a cameo in The Hills,â€ a spy tells 24Sizzler.com. â€œKevin declined the offer, though, deciding to stay at the Hard Rock.â€ (Kevin and Brody did bond though: Kevin lent Brody some of his pimp bling for him to pose in a few photos).

According to one Federline insider, Kevin, whoâ€™s in need of a gig, made the right decision: â€œWith all the custody drama going on right now, and whoâ€™s a better parent, and whoâ€™s partying, I donâ€™t think itâ€™s the best idea for Kevin to get too involved with another group of Young Hollywood types who go out every night,â€ the source tells 24Sizzler.com.

I’m no agent, but I don’t think K-Fed should be turning down ANY roles these days. If Siegfried and Roy call him up and ask him to get down on all fours and growl like a lion, his only question should be "What time?" Kudos to him for passing on an opportunity to hit one more party, though. Do you hear that, Britney? That’s the seconds of the clock ticking away until the nice men in white coats come to take you away.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Say His Rap Was “For Fun”

Attention whores of the millennium, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, are claiming the leak of the shideous single done by Heidi was a mistake. To boot, the single contains a K-Fedulous rap in it, courtesy of Spencer Brat. Us Magazine reports:

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are normally of the "all press is good press" school, but today’s leak of Montag’s first single has got them both in a tizzy.

A source tells Usmagazine.com that the couple do not know where Ryan Seacrest got the song, which he played for listener feedback this morning on his radio show. â€œThey are furious," the source says. "They donâ€™t know who [is responsible], but Heidi, Spencer and the label are extremely upset it leaked."

Montag, who has a contract to release one song, not a whole album, with Warner Brothers, had planned to release "Body Language" without Pratt’s rap. Pratt tells Us that the leaked track "was a song Heidi and I were doing for fun. Never would I rap on her first single!"

Yeah, and the sex tape we’re sure to find is going to be an "accident" too. Just looking at these two makes me feel like I have food poisoning on a humid, hundred-degree day at my time of the month. Yes, it’s that bad.

BRITNEY IS DRUNK AND NAKED – Another shocking revelation: â€œShe drinks in front of the kids,â€ one former staffer says of Spears. â€œAt first, the drinks would help her loosen up and not be so angry. But she’d inevitably drink too much and be out of it, at which point the nannies would take care of the kids.â€ And multiple sources confirm Spears’ exhibitionist streak: â€œShe’ll strip down in front of staff, nannies, whomever,â€ says one. â€œShe’ll ask, â€˜Do I look sexy? Do I look pretty?’ She’s extremely insecure.â€

BRITNEYS BODYGUARD AND EX ASSISTANT SERVED – Shannon Funk was served late Tuesday night at the airport in Long Beach, Calif. Also on the list was the singer’s bodyguard Daimon Shippen, who was served late Monday night as he was getting out of his car in Santa Monica, Calif. Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is behind the subpoenas, which will be used to compel those close to Spears to discuss her parenting style.

BRITNEY WILL OPEN THE VMAs – one of the worst kept secrets is that Britney will perform at the MTV Video Music awards on September 9th in Vegas.

BRITNEY AND K-FED DIVORCE DOCUMENTS MAY OR MAY NOT STAY SEALED – The divorce and custody papers of KFed and Brit are currently sealed and not available to the public and their lawyers want to keep it that way. However, People Magazine and other outlets will ask the court to make these documents public on September 14th. They feel these records should be made public since they are public figures. The custody hearing will take place on September 17th.

If the press is writing headlines like these about you…you just might be a redneck. Oh, and Britney should be insecure. 1) She’s not pretty. 2) She’s not sexy. 3) She’s an alcoholic. 4) She’s a whore. 5) She doesn’t have a shred of talent anymore. 6) She doesn’t have a shred of credibility or decency anymore. 7) People hate her, and yet she still made the cover of Allure with the help of Photoshop…in my opinion.

Kevin Federline Asks Court for More Money and the Kids

Kevin Federline is serious about asking for increased custody of the two kids he has with Britney Spears, and early Sunday morning Spears’ cousin/assistant Alli Sims and Spears’ music producer JR Rotem were notified that they will be called to testify in the custody hearings. Us magazine says:

They were approached early Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m. outside a party at a Hollywood Hills home and served with a deposition subpoena by Aaron Cohen of IMS Security, who, according to another source, is "one the top security guys in Hollywood."

A visibly upset Sims attempted to avoid being served, and she and Rotem began to argue with Cohen. But, as an eyewitness reports, Cohen was not deterred by Sims’ denials and was forced to throw the subpoena through an open car window as Sims and Rotem fled in a friend’s car. Spears was spotted leaving the same party moments later and eventually joined Sims and Rotem at her Beverly Hills home.

It probably didn’t help that Britney and her friends had to be served at 2:30am at a party in the Hollywood Hills, but Us goes on to say that Simms will be questioned about everything she knows in regards to Britney as a parent:

According to a source familiar with the custody battle, Sims’ deposition gives Kaplan the ability to, "ask her about everything. What she feeds the kids, what’s going in the bottles, how late they’re staying up and about what Britney is like when she parties."

Britney’s only hope now is for Ali to either disappear forever, or to develop a pathological condition that forces her to lie for Britney. TMZ says K-Fed is only after the money:

K-Fed is going back to court asking for more custody of the kids. Kevin Federline just agreed to a 50/50 split. Then, he turned around almost immediately and filed papers asking for 70/30. So why such a sudden change of heart?

Alli Sims, Britney’s cousin, was served over the weekend. Kevin’s lawyer wants to take her deposition. Now here’s what’s telling. Federline’s lawyer also wants to take Britney’s depo, but a source connected with Alli says the deposition notice Britney received is all financial — in other words, the references are all about money, not the kids.

When a guy does it, he’s only after the money, when a woman does it, she’s only doing it for the kids. Sexist. If Britney had not already proven her love for sex with a different guy every night, nearly substantiated lesbian rumors, been to rehab for drug and alcohol abuse, nearly dropped Sean Preston a few times, and put her children’s safety in jeopardy over and over again, then maybe the case could be made for K-Fed only being after the money. Of course he wants the money, and to make sure his kids are safe. K-Fed didn’t engage in a custody battle with Shar Jackson, probably because she’s a better mother than Britney Spears. Sad isn’t it? Who knows, once K-Fed gets the kids, Shar might help him raise his kids, and they will probably turn out better. Britney was raised by a pack of wolves, and look how she turned out. Wolves are so over-rated.

K-Fed Pursues Sole Custody

The Scoop is reporting that, after a string of erratic behavior by Britney, K-Fed has given up any thoughts of joint custody and is pursuing sole custody instead.

Spears was recently spotted driving with her younger son Jayden facing forward in his car seat, not backward as federal guidelines require. And earlier this month, he was photographed grabbing his motherâ€™s cigarettes. On July 18, she stripped to her skivvies on a beach in front of photographers and reports of bizarre behavior at an OK! magazine shoot have friends seriously worried about the Toxic singer. Spears wants K-Fed to sign a joint custody agreement, but heâ€™s reportedly refused.

Can you imagine the judge trying to decide between Britney and K-Fed?Â It’s like being on a strict diet and eating at a restaurant that only serves deep fried chicken wings and fettucini alfredo.Â I can picture him now:Â "Eeny meeny, miny mo…"
