Miley Cyrus (16) ended her nine month relationship with Justin Gaston (20) last week as she was leaving Los Angeles to film her new movie The Last Song in Savannah, Georgia.

We knew trouble was brewing back in April when Miley hooked up with former boyfriend Nick Jonas, then told a crowd she didn’t have a boyfriend.

On Saturday Miley Twittered:

"I’m in a dark theater ’writing’ a song with nick j who is rockin a faded eggplant shirt! "

The Jonas Brothers need the extra publicity boost right now, and Miley might be able to help with that. Way to take one for the team Nick.

Miley Cyrus has been trying to deny rumors she dumped Justin Gaston to get back together with Nick Jonas, but the rumors just got louder.

On the The Paul O’Grady Show today Miley denied having a boyfriend. When asked:

"Do you have a boyfriend in real life?"

Miley responded:

"Maybe, maybe not."

Miley is keeping her options open, just in case Nick wants to confirm they are back together.

We recently saw Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas having lunch together. Word is the pair are working on a video together, but now rumors are swirling that Miley wants to dump Justin Gaston to get back together with her true love Nick, except Gaston is living in Miley’s house. Gatecrasher has more:

Miley Cyrus has some bad news for boyfriend Justin Gaston: She wants to get back together with her ex, Nick Jonas.
Although the 16-year-old “Hannah Montana” star has been dating 20-year-old underwear model/musician Gaston for nearly eight months, an insider says her heart belongs to first love Jonas. And the two — who split in 2007 — have found it impossible to stay apart from one another.

“Miley and Nick want to get back together,” our source tells us. “Because they’re working together [on a new video], they’ve been put in close proximity to each other. They’re now spending more and more time together, and they’re constantly on the phone.”

When the two were photographed together on a lunch date at L.A.’s Village Idiot in mid-April, Miley laughed off rumors of a romance, using the “just friends” chestnut.

But do friends kiss and cuddle? When the two get together these days, their relationship hardly seems platonic. Says our insider, “Miley was over at the Jonas house recently, and they were smooching. Nick’s parents have this rule that when a girl is over, the door has to be open, but that didn’t stop Nick and Miley from making out.”

According to the snitch, the couple is “very sweet together,” but they do have their squabbles — especially when it comes to telling Justin the truth. The source says Miley even turned on the waterworks recently, crying: “How do I tell him? I don’t know how to do this!”

Adds the insider, “She doesn’t know how to tell Justin that they’re over, but Nick is being very firm with her. He’s a good, stand-up kind of guy, and is making Miley tell Justin very, very soon. He’s being tough about it.”

Clearly, the two are MFEO (made for each other, in teenspeak). Miley recently told Ryan Seacrest, “Me and Nick … talk all the time and he is one my best friends. We really love each other, and I am happy we have been able to stay such good friends.”

But our snitch insists that the tween stars’ relationship has gone way beyond friendship. Says the insider: “I think Miley and Nick are definitely in the process of rekindling their romance.”

Nick’s rep told us, “We have no comment on our client’s personal life.” Miley’s flack didn’t respond by deadline.

There are rumors that Gaston is gay, and if that’s true losing Miley will only hurt his effort to get more publicity. Getting back with Nick would help keep Miley in the spotlight. Gaston is just dragging Miley down.

It seems like more and more pictures of Justin Gaston are popping up that show him in a gayish light. We see the cross around his neck, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be gay.

Is Miley Cyrus just dating Justin to show him off to friends since he’s pretty, and much older?

In Miley’s book, Miley Cyrus: Miles To Go she says her pre-teen years were “friendless, lonely and miserable." She writes:

“The girls took it beyond normal bullying. These were big, tough girls. I was scrawny and short. They were fully capable of doing me bodily harm.”

One time they even locked her in the girl’s restroom. Miley writes:

“They shoved me in. I was trapped. I banged on the door until my fists hurt. Nobody came. I spent what felt like an hour in there, waiting for someone to rescue me, wondering how my life had gotten so messed up.”

She also refers to Nick Jonas as "Prince Charming." Miley writes:

“It felt like the whole world stopped. Nothing else mattered. Deep down I know we weren’t being our best selves."

When is Miley going to stop talking about Nick Jonas?

“Classmates would say, ‘Your dad’s a one-hit wonder. You’ll never amount to anything, just like him.’”

Now Miley has Justin, but she doesn’t seem to go on and on about him like she still does about Nick.

What would all those mean girls say if they found out Justin was gay and faking the boyfriend thing to get famous?

Justin Gaston (20) has posed as a gay teen for the gay magazine Electric Youth! Stylelist reports:

Celebrity magazines have been reporting that Justin Gaston, Miley Cyrus’s 20-year-old model boyfriend, has moved into the Cyrus family home so that dad Billy Ray can "keep an eye on him." But it seems the young fella has been slipping out of the compound.

Away from the Disney-sanitized environment that attends a hit commodity like "Hannah Montana," young Mr. Gaston is getting quite the reputation for racy photo spreads. First came a series in the Spring 2009 issue of V Man, an edgy men’s fashion magazine which posed him awkwardly straddling a tennis net and grabbing his crotch.

Now he is on the cover of the even more avant garde Electric Youth! magazine, a frankly homoerotic remix of the teen-mag Tiger Beat genre dedicated to up-and-coming male models. (Although the new issue does also feature a handful of young female models, including Dakota Johnson, the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.)

Electric Youth! (or EY!), named after the Debbie Gibson hit, is the brainchild of a Madrid-based creative director named Luis Venegas. Each model is interviewed in the style of a teen idol and the text, in contrast to the revealing photos, is positively restrained. Gaston is only referred to as Miley’s "best friend," for example, and the aspiring musician is allowed a generous plug for his MySpace demo page. Dakota Johnson’s famous parents aren’t even mentioned.

EY! does not have a web site and you won’t find the ad-free mag on news stands. Although it nominally has a US cover price of $18, in reality it is stocked by only a few trendy European boutiques or distributed privately among the fashion media.

Which is probably just as well, since if he saw it Billy Ray might wonder why Justin’s red Speedo had to be quite so tight.

Justin is only using Miley to get famous, and Miley is only using Justin to show off that she can get a hot guy. It’s sad though that Miley can only get a guy who is using her, and doesn’t actually like her for who she is, unless that’s someone who is famous.

Justin is just another LA player.
