Jonathan Rhys-Meyers Enters Rehab

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, star of Showtime’s The Tudors, has entered a rehab facility, his rep says.

"After a non-stop succession of filming Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program," rep Meredith O’Sullivan says. "He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery."

The 29-year-old actor, who costarred with Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen’s Match Point last year, portrays King Henry VIII in The Tudors, which premiered on April 1, and recently completed filming the drama August Rush with Keri Russell, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams.

Meyers’ rep adds, "Jonathan plans to resume his schedule following completion."

It’s good Meyers got help before he did something he regretted like so many other celebrities.

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers has Shoe Fetish

‘Mission: Impossible III‘ star Jonathan Rhys-Meyers has a shoe
fetish.

The 29-year-old actor confessed his kinky obsession is so intense that he often
slips into a pair of slinky stilettos.

Rhys-Meyers said: "I have a love of women’s shoes. Wearing them or just looking
at them."

The Irish star admitted that his fetish has spiralled out of control and he
often satisfies his urges by buying high heels for a ‘girlfriend’ – but keeps
them for himself.

He added: "I would go out and buy a fantastic pair of shoes for nobody just to
own them. If I wasn’t an actor, I’d probably design women’s shoes."

Rhys-Meyers, who starred in ‘Match Point’ alongside Scarlett Johansson,
was allegedly ordered to stop leering at the curvy beauty’s breasts while
filming sex scenes in the movie.

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers obviously should have co-starred in Brokeback Mountain
with Jake Gyllenhaal rather than Heath Ledger. Maybe in Brokeback
Mountain 2?

Mission Impossible 3 Pictures (30)

A total of 30 new Mission Impossible 3 images have surfaced with pictures of director JJ Abrams and the entire leading cast including Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt), Ving Rhames (Luther Stickell), and newcomers Simon Pegg (Benji Dunn), Keri Russell, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Michelle Monaghan, Billy Crudup, and Laurence Fishburne.

There’s also a handful of scenic shots including the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Pudong (Shanghai, China). Mission Impossible 3 hits theaters nationwide on Friday, May 5, and is sure to be box office gold, no wait platinum.

Mission Impossible III Premiere in Rome

The cast of Mission Impossible III (left to right), Maggie Q, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Monaghan, director JJ Abrams, Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Phillip Seymor Hoffman, posed in Rome, Italy for a group photo in front of the ancient Coliseum during the world premiere of MI-3 this morning at the Palazzo Colonna. They all attended a photo call and press conference later on in the day. Tom Cruise missed this group photo, but was at the press conference. I don’t recognize the person on the end. Perhaps someone could leave a comment if they know this person’s name.
