Sarah Palin Interview Number 2 with Katie Couric
Sarah Palin sat for another interview with Katie Couric, this time with John McCain at her side to help defend her from hater Couric.
Couric pointed out an answer Palin gave sounded a lot like a position Barack Obama has about going across the border to get terrorists. Okay, so what’s the problem if they sound like they agree, besides Couric’s seething and obvious hatred for Palin?
McCain – Obama First Presidential Debate
John McCain and Barack Obama had their first presidential debate. Here is a summary of what was said:
McCain: Obama is naive, inexperienced, has a lack of understanding, has dangerous ideas, and doesn’t get the importance of critical concepts because of his inexperience.
Obama: John McCain is absolutely right …
McCain kept Obama on the defense during most of the debate, and when Obama looked like he might have McCain on the defensive McCain came right back.
My conclusion: Obama may be book smart, but that can’t compete against McCain’s lifetime of experience.
A Fox News poll showed 84% of viewers thought John McCain won the debate, 15% thought Obama won, and 1% were undecided.

San Francisco Examiner Has Endorsed McCain and Palin

The San Francisco Examiner explains in an article they wrote the reasons they have decided to endorse John McCain and Sarah Palin. Besides the other obvious reasons like the war on terror, they also note this team is more likely to bring honesty back to Washington D.C. Click here to read their article.
I’m shocked that anyone in San Francisco supports the Republican ticket.
Also of note, McCain and Obama will have their first Presidential debate tonight, since McCain has almost finished his work in Washington D.C. helping get a deal done to bail out Financial institutions. Many thought McCain would not show up for the debate since he suspended his Presidential campaign to do his job he still has as a Senator. As John McCain says “Country First.”
David Letterman Upset that John McCain Cancelled Appearance
David Letterman couldn’t get over the fact John McCain thought dealing with our country’s financial crisis was more important that Talk Show appearances, which is the opposite of what Barack Obama would have done, and is doing.. McCain’s campaign issued this response:
"We deeply regret offending Mr. Letterman, but our candidate’s priority at this moment is to focus on this crisis."
You’re rich Dave, so financial concerns might not be important to you, but they are to the rest of us who are eating cake at the moment. Get over your elitist self.
