In a recent interview on the Jimmy Kimmel show, John Mayer mentions the true test of a girlfriend is if she understands when he has to hang up because FedEx is there. Jess, FedEx means more to Mayer than you do honey, nah, not really. Jimmy goes on to play some almost x-rated phone calls Mayer made. It’s all a lot of fun. Since Mayer may be in the gossip spotlight for a while, it’s a good idea to really get to know what a cool guy he is before the gossip mill twists him into something he is not.

John Mayer may be dating Jessica Simpson who has little singing talent, but John Mayer is the real deal. Mayer is pure talent. Love his music. Enjoy this music video, and have a safe holiday weekend.

She lost her voice, but Jessica Simpson turns that frown upside down as she rolls on with her album release party for A Public Affair at New York City’s Foxy on Tuesday.

Earlier that day, Simpson makes a (mostly) muted appearance on MTV’s TRL in one outfit (left) and leaves in another even less flattering outfit. Now that JS is dating JM (John Mayer) this will become white trash week at Hollywood Grind as I am forced to keep posting about the adventures of Jess. Here’s a funny quote:

“They’ve only gotten together a handful of times over the last few weeks,” says a Mayer source. “But yes, they’ve made out.” (A Simpson pal says they have yet to consummate the relationship.)

OMG when I read that last line I nearly peed my pants. Even her ex Nick said she was banging anything that stood erect in a light breeze. Mayer got with Jess because he needs a public affair with benefits. Mayer must be pretty desperate because I imagine Jess’ dad might like to watch. Ewwww.
