After just cancelling a show in San Diego, Jennifer Lopez confirmed her pregnancy today by announcing it to a crowd of 10,000 in Miami on the last stop of her tour at the American Airlines Arena. JLo said:

"Marc and I are expecting. You don’t mind if I catch my breath for a minute,” she said at one point, holding her belly.

The crowd went crazy. Marc Anthony then said:

"I did not know she was going to say anything."

Anthony then bent over and kissed his wife’s belly. Wednesday night’s show was the final concert on the tour, the couple have canceled subsequent dates in Puerto Rico and San Diego. ”We’re going away for a while,” Lopez said. Congratulations to Marc and Jennifer … finally.

Jennifer Lopez canceled the last show on her tour with Marc Anthony. The show was originally scheduled for October 24 but postponed because of the wildfires in San Diego. Concert promoter Live Nation said:

“Unfortunately, rerouting the tour has been impossible due to the event’s last-minute postponement caused by the area wildfire emergency.”

The people in San Diego would have really enjoyed some entertainment, but unfortunately JLo is too pregnant to perform. Christina did it. Why doesn’t Lopez just admit she’s pregnant already?

Jennifer Lopez may be seeing the end of her career. Kim Kardashian has taken over as the big butt on the block, JLo’s last movie made with her husband El Cantante made only $7.5 million worldwide, even though it had a $15 million budget, recent news her record label wants to dump her for losing them money on her latest album Brave, and now today’s new that JLo’s just released movie Bordertown will go straight to DVD. The New York Post reports:

Bordertown – where J. Lo plays a reporter probing the murders of female factory workers in Mexico – will hit video stores in January, reports Moviefone. Co-starring Antonio Banderas, the flick was booed at the Berlin International Film Festival. A rep for Bordertown insisted plans for the film are still in limbo.

It might just be a coincidence, but Lopez got pregnant right about the time she knew her career was going down the toilet. In a few years, maybe she can team up for a comeback tour with Britney.

Jennifer Lopez has been costing Epic Records, and their parent company Sony BMG, a lot of money lately, so there is talk they might drop her from the label. A source said:

“She costs too much money and doesn’t sell enough. Her last album cover alone cost $60,000 in hair and makeup, lighting, photographers, re-touching, etc. The video budget was in the neighborhood of $300,000.”

JLo’s make-up alone costs $8,000 per day. When she did Dancing with the Stars it cost the label $60,000. All this and yet her Album Brave, released October 9, only sold 53,000 copies, at an average profit for the label of $4 per CD, which means the label lost money. Another source says:

“Sony and Epic might keep her, but she’ll be doing little more than greatest hits albums. That you can do without incurring a huge cost. The label is tired of throwing money away.”

Looks like Jenny from the block is going to have to do her own makeup, just like the girls from the block. Represent.

Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez is sick and tired of her stage name J.Lo, now she is going to ditch it since it brought on a negative image of her as diva.

The 37-year-old star has a reputation of being demanding and prima donna-like such as throwing little tantrum at times, but Lopez insists it’s just an alter-ego that was meant to be fun but “got out of control and really crazy”.

She told The Sun, “That’s all gone with the ridiculous stories about me throwing tantrums and insisting on Egyptian sheets. That’s all firmly in my past.”

The diva oops I mean Mrs. Marc Anthony wants to take on more serious roles and music projects. But in my opinion, should she learn how to act and sing first before delving into such ‘serious projects’?

Jennifer earned millions from romantic comedies like Maid in Manhattan and The Wedding Planner.

But she added: “If you focus on the money you’re not going to get anywhere. If money is your motivation you’re going to be such an empty shallow person.”
