Martha Stewart Show Entirely Dedicated to Pot

The Monday episode of the Martha Stewart show will be "entirely dedicated to the world of pot." An email today from the show said:

Monday’s episode will feature Martha talking about her stash of pots while an onscreen crawl highlights every word she uses that includes "pot." She’ll hang out with some pot-bellied pigs, chat with some professional plant potters, and welcome guest Jimmy Fallon, who brings Martha a plate of brownies upon entrance (while cracking an already-tired Michael Phelps joke) and later cooks his favorite chili in, yep, a Crock-Pot.

Martha is finally putting her prison skills to good use.

Jimmy Fallon was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno promoting his webisodes, as well as the premier of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which starts in March.

Jimmy asked Jay how to deal with interferring networks. That’s when Jay threw a cup of water on him.

Was it staged, or is Jay feeling a little hostility?

Jimmy Fallon is set to replace Conan O’Brien on Late Night, and O’Brien will replace Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. To garner more interest, NBC will debut Fallon line several months before the show starts.

NBC tried to retain Leno, but he said he’ll find a job elsewhere. It doesn’t appear Leno, who is the king of late night television, was ready to retire. NBC has made a lot of bad business decisions, so we’ll have to wait and see how Fallon and O’Brien do.

Jimmy Fallon will be officially named as the new host of Late Night when Conan O’Brien takes over the Tonight Show after Jay Leno steps down. A news conference is planned for Monday to make the announcement.

Fallon is a funny guy, but I still can’t see him succeeding as a late night host. Surprise me Fallon!

With Conan O’Brien taking over for Jay Leno in 2009, Jimmy Fallon has been named to replace Conan. Although I wish Jimmy a lot of luck, because he’s really going to need it, I get the feeling this is going to have the same short airing as The Chevy Chase Show back in 1993, which aired for something like a month. A perfect fit for late night is just so rare. There will never be another Johnny Carson.

Paris Hilton Sings Live

After the controversial, and unauthorized smash hit One Night in Paris, Paris Hilton experienced more fame than the vagina monologues. Everyone wanted a piece of the action, so Paris went on SNL (Saturday Night Live) for a penetrating interview performed enthusiastically by Jimmy Fallon. It was a few years ago, but very funny. The video of the interview is in the gallery after the jump.

Another controversy surrounding Paris is whether or not she can sing live. Well, earlier this year Paris did sing live at Hugh Hefner’s birthday party at the Playboy mansion. Paris’ voice was flat, and resembled the singing of someone who is tone deaf. Heavy duty engineering and backup singers may have been the magic in Paris’ singing on her Stars are Blind album. Ever wonder why Jimmy Fallon always has a bad hair day? This email below showed up on the net recently.

In 1993 a college kid walked into my barber shop who others told me did stand up comedy at his school…. So I gave him a nice haircut and said, “Keep your money, just come with me tomorrow and if you make it big one day you can take care of me!” We both laughed and he said, “Okay, it’s a deal! ” We shook hands on it…. My barber shop has been the launching pad for many great beginnings, but none quite as spectacular as Jimmy’s story. The world has gotten a great entertainer all because of a good haircut and a caring barber who took his time to help someone. That’s been my story ever since: giving free haircuts to those in need, hoping one day it will help shape their lives. I have nothing to show for my success other than a warm heart for those who care.

Translation: Jimmy send money, care of that nice barber who changed your life with a haircut. Jimmy probably has such a fear of barbers now he cuts his own hair.
