The Silver Cross baby stroller company is being sued by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony for using a photo of the couple pushing their twins around in an advertisement to sell the strollers without their permission or compensation.

The couple are suing for trademark infringement in federal court. The lawsuit alleges Silver Cross used their photograph online and also in ads without their consent, in turn deceiving the public into "believing that Lopez and Anthony endorse and sponsor" the company.

The lawsuit is asking for $5 million in damages, and a permanent injunction against the company ever using their names and images again. In addition they want monetary compensation from the use of their images.

Lawsuits are a great way to get free publicity.

Jennifer Lopez has been fueling the divorce rumors by not wearing her wedding ring to important events like the Golden Globes. She made the excuse the ring didn’t go with the dress. Well maybe Marc Anthony doesn’t go with the marriage. Wedding rings go with everything!

Lopez made a point to show everyone that she was finally wearing her wedding ring when she attended the Latino Inaugural Gala in Washington, D.C. last night. Marc Anthony even sang.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony enjoyed some sun and a swim on the Fourth of July in Italy. Lopez has packed on a few pounds from her pregnancy, which she probably needed to carry her two healthy twins to term. She looks great!

Jennifer Lopez will be the focus of a new reality show on the TLC network. Execs are calling the show a "docu-series" so people don’t think it’s some low rent reality TV show, like everyone else does. Lopez will be a co-executive producer and co-creator for the show. The focus will be on how she juggles motherhood alongside her career, and will help promote her new fragrance. There’s no mention about Marc Anthony at all, but rest assured daddy will be there every step of the way. Lopez says:

“I’m looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together.”

She’s also looking forward to a big payday.

TLC President, Angela Shapiro-Mathes said in a statement:

“Jennifer is unbelievably passionate about life and will be an incredible role model for our audience.”

That’s true if a good role model is someone who has been married more than once, and who just had children with a man who has kids from another relationship. For some people Lopez isn’t a perfect role model, but at least she’s a role model for real people who live real lives, with real problems. For Lopez the show is just a way for her to keep working until her twins are big enough for mamma to go back to her full work schedule. SMART!!!
