William Balfour (27) was officially arrested and charged with the murders of three family members of Jennifer Hudson. Investigators say Balfour had a gun that matched the gun used in the murders.

The AP ran a story confirming that police found the gun used to kill three members of Jennifer Hudson’s family, but the AP made a horrible mistake. In the picture above you can see a picture of Jason Hudson on the far right. He’s obviously black, right? Well not according to the professional journalists at the Associated Press. Julian King, the nephew of Jennifer Hudson, was found dead this morning. Jennifer Hudson had offered a $100,000 reward on Sunday for Julian’s safe return.

The FBI confirmed the body of Julian was found in the SUV they were searching for, which had been abandoned by the killer. The body still needs to undergo forensics to be positively identified, but based on a visual it was Julian.

Police are questioning William Balfour, who is the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, about the shooting death of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, and brother, from several days ago, and Julian’s death after his body was found today. Julian was taken from the home by the killer, and Balfour is said to have been living with Jennifer’s mother at the time the killings took place.

Balfour’s mother, Michele Balfour, has said Hudson’s mother kicked Balfour out of the family home last winter. She denied her son had anything to do with the killings. How would she know if he did it or not?

Balfour, who is 27 years-old, was taken into custody Friday by Chicago police for questioning in the killings. On Sunday, he was transferred to the Illinois Department of Corrections "based on his active parole violation unrelated to this investigation." Balfour is not the Julian’s father, and has not been charged in the slayings, but will remain in custody.

This story is so incredibly sad, I can’t even express my grief and disappointment. Whoever did this needs to be put to death the way the victims died.

Julian was only 7 years-old. I want to see justice done!

The mother of Jennifer Hudson, Darnell Donerson (57), was found dead, alongside a dead man, after having both been shot to death in a house on the South Side of Chicago. The dead man was Hudson’s older brother Jason Hudson (29).

Jennifer is flying from Florida to Chicago right now. Her album promotion in Japan on Monday has been cancelled.

Chicago police are now searching for a man and a boy, believed to be driving on the North Side. The man is known as "William," has braids in his hair, and is driving a 1994 Chevy, according to police scanner traffic. The 7-year-old was wearing a tan jersey with the number 5 on it and tan slacks.

The boy is Jennifer’s nephew, Julian King. An Amber Alert has been issued. Police believe Julian was taken from the home. They are looking for a 1994 White Chevy Suburban with license plate: X58-4859.

The man who is believe to have take Julian is William Balfour, an African-American male in his late 20s, who is considered armed and dangerous. Balfour is out on parole from the Illinois River Correctional Center on attempted murder, carjacking and stolen-property charges, according to the Illinois Department of Corrections. He was sentenced to serve seven years in 1999. He’s 5-foot-5 and weighs 147 pounds.

A Corrections rep said that Balfour was paroled in 2006; he was set to be discharged from that parole in May 2009.

According to the Amber Alert issued for King, he is wearing a brown, striped polo shirt and khaki pants. He is 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

Balfour had been living at the residence, according to public records, and may have had a romantic relationship with Hudson’s sister Julia, as vehicles are co-registered to both of them. Police said Balfour is believed to be driving either a white Chevrolet Suburban, 1994 model, with the license plate X584859, or a green Chrysler Concord, with the license plate 332K823.
