Years ago Jean-Claude Van Damme was one of the top martial arts action movie actors, today … not so much. Now comes a movie named used Jean Claude Van Damme’s initials, and it’s called JCVD. The movie, and role, fit Van Damme’s life much more closely, and allow him to give an authentic performance. This movie could be interesting on an evening when you have nothing better to do, but are craving something different, raw, and authentic. I’d watch it on DVD though, when it’s on the discount shelf.
